Don’t Be Afraid To Fall. Duckwrth Is Back.

“Fall Back” may be one of Duckwrth’s finest productions yet.  Before I expand, take a listen to the song below.

Duckwrth as successfully don’t a feature with HIMSELF.  Over an aggressive beat produced by ‘Two Fresh Beats”, the song seems as if features multiple artists based on the pitch and tone of his bars.  But his aggressive nature, and smooth tones in the same song are quite unique, It engages the listener in a way that Childish Gambino’s “This Is America” and Kendrick Lamar’s “Mad City” do as well.  Take a listen to it above.

‘Rare Panther + Beach House’ – DUCKWRTH.

The man of musical mastery has put out another masterpiece.  Duckwrth’s newest dual video release Rare Panther/Beach House is a unique yet welcomed piece beginning with a hike in the forest, and ending with a beautiful walk away from the water.  Directed brilliantly by Lino Asana, take a look at Duckwrth’s newest musical endeavor.

God Does Love Uugly.

Hot off the presses is the latest release from the musically ubiquitous Duckwrth, titled “Get Uugly”.  This track is a glorious new age love child between Kanye’s “808 and Heartbreaks”, Snoop Dogg’s “Sexual Seduction”, and “Marilyn Monroe” off of Pharrell’s ‘Girl’ album.  Georgia Anne Muldrow displays both her singing prowess, and quite an impressive and dexterous flow on the track.  Mixed down by Neal Pogue, and produced by ‘LIKE’, if you’re already a fan of the Duck man, this track is sure to impress.  Check the method below.

Duckwrth – Psycho (Official Video).

It’s rare that the music videos provide us with a form of story telling now a days, be it straightforward or more abstract, the Hip Hop video landscape is littered with cars and falling money, and single colored backgrounds.  (No offense to anyone who has a video like that… I’ve been in a few myself).  The social commentary and quick witted delivery of Duckwrth’s single “Psycho” required accompanying visuals that also made a statement.  The sleek and sultry bass lines provided by The Kickdrums, move the video through a few basic but beautifully shot scenes.  Director Nick Snow and crew did a wonderful job, from a full 720 degree tracking shot in the park, to the bright and slightly ominous apartment ending with blood red walls.  Check the method below.

Duckwrth x The Kickdrums – Naruto (Official Video).

1510814_369867169837698_6661870267526888360_nIf anyone has watched the movie “The Perfect Storm”, you’d know that when multiple formidable forces connect, things can get pretty ugly.  That’s exactly what we have in the case of Duckwrth, The Kickdrums, and Brooklyn Gypsy. The track Naruto has already been spun all over the world, before the video even dropped.  Shot by Mancy Gant, the Naruto video is both tribal, and urban. Simple, unique, and complex. Stunningly introspective, and still manages to give people what they want from Duckwrth. Check out the visuals for Naurto below.

Special Thanks to Team Backpack, Lino Brown, Christina Ting, Rare Panther, Blind Youth and Brooklyn.

DUCKWRTH – Fukushima (Official Video).

Duckwrth, aside from being featured on this blog many-a-time, also has a constant track record of creating some of the most refreshingly original music I’ve personally heard.  His newest beast Fukushima was produced by Viktorstone, and puts Duck’s candid flow on full display. The video is about Duckwrth and crew attempting to catch “The Fukushima Creature” before it gets to the beach and poisons the ocean. Blended with some amazing skating scenes and humorous outtakes, Fukushima serves to be not just only an unique and creative video, but a way to inform the world on the Nuclear waste in Japan that threatens our oceans today.  Check the method below.
