T-Pain Flips The Twitch.

Everyone knows that celebrities at the end of the day, are just regular people like us. Many stars have been known to voice their love for dabbling in video games from ‘Dungeons and Dragons’ to World of Warcraft. Now we KNOW we’re late to the game here, (no pun intended) but upon first hear of rapper T-Pain joining “Twitch” the video game streaming service, where you can WATCH players play the game, along with the players themselves, we knew we had to take a look. It’s one thing to hear about your favorite rapper or singer playing your favorite video game, but to see them in FULL spectacle during their introduction must be a treat. That being said, T-Pain has to hold the title for THE MOST fantastic Twitch intro in Hip Hop history, and it true Twitch fashion, the whole world can see it. Now we know this occurred a little over a year ago when Covid lockdown was in full effect, but it’s spectacular enough to share never the less.

The 2015 Ferrari California T is packed with a twin turbocharged 3.9 liter 8-cylinder engine, the California T pushes out some impressive numbers, making 560 horsepower along with 557 lb-ft of torque. All that power gets the drop-top to 62 mph in just 3.6 seconds from a standstill. Naturally people are looking for ways to get that top down faster than ever, and of course Ferrari obliges with a 14 seconds fold down time on the retractable hard-top roof. For stopping power this supercar is equipped with a set of carbon-ceramic brakes, while a F1-Trac traction control system creates one hell of a driving experience.

Renowned German auto tuners Alpina recently took to the floor at the Tokyo Motor Show to unveil their latest advanced BMW creation: the 2014 BMW Alpina B4 Bi-Turbo Coupe. Sporting Alpina’s adaptive sport suspension in conjunction with a Switch-Tronic-equipped 8-speed sport-automatic transmission, the B4 Bi-Turbo Coupe pairs a modern straight-six 3 liter engine with a duo of turbochargers – thus creating 410 hp, 442 lb-ft of torque, acceleration from 0 to 62 mph in 4.2 seconds and a top speed approaching 190 mph. Signature Alpina details include the likes of two elliptical double tailpipes and 20″ wheels, as well as a high-performance braking system that features 14.5″ discs up front and 13.5″ discs in back. Just as impressive as the high-powered, aerodynamic coupe’s exterior – and Lavalina leather-lined interior – is the tuned car’s fuel economy: the B4 is rated at about 31 mpg.

Nissan 3E

Nissan-3E-600x333

Nissan has posted a teaser video for its 3E, a head-mounted internet-connected device that not only offers the wearer a heads-up display of current speed and navigation instructions while driving, but also monitors and reports on a car’s and the wearer’s vital signs. Nissan is being very coy about the device’s full suite of uses and applications but there are strong suggestions that as well as for internet access, the 3E could be used as a communications device and for streaming point of view videos and photos while driving. In September, Nissan took the tech world by surprise when it unveiled the Nismo Concept Watch at the Frankfurt motor show — a smartwatch concept with a driving focus and a device capable of monitoring health information — that of the car and of its driver. The company revealed that the watch — which records and reports on energy efficiency, fuel consumption and average speeds when the car is being used normally and on telematics and performance data when a car is lapping a race track — was simply a first step into the field of wearable technology and that more was to come. However, we’ll have to wait until the Tokyo motor show gets underway, on November 20 to find out all of the 3E’s capabilities.

The Italian classic Lancia Stratos is not only considered as one of the most iconic cars in WRC history, but as the first car ever to be designed purely for rally race performance. Claiming three consecutive champion titles in 1974, 1975 and 1976, the Stratos is still considered one of the most challenging, epic, and intriguing driving experiences today. Petrolicious chatted with Phillip Toledano about his experiences driving the iconic race model and discuses its “disastrous noises”, “intrusive” nature, and the intriguing “terror” felt while behind the wheel.

Chris Brown’s Cousins Chase Down Frank Ocean.

I do my best not to help stimulate hip hop beef, or draw too much attention to it on the blog… BUT this one was a little too much for me to ignore.  Odd Future’s own Frank Ocean went off on Chris brown for seemingly no reason recently on twitter after Chris Brown complimented him.  What ensued was a back and forth between Brown, Tyler The Creator, and Frank Ocean that was eventually broken up by none other than The Game (random.)  But although the argument may have ended there, I’m getting the feeling things are just heating up.  More below.

Now, I have to admit, that Chris Brown doesn’t exactly strike me as the most gangsta of the child star R&B singers on the planet, however, this doesn’t mean that his family won’t go hard.  From the description of a video that surfaced recently, Frank Ocean allegedly ran after being confronted by Chris Brown.  But weather that’s true or not remains to be seen.  What the video actually shows however is Frank Ocean driving away from who are reported to be Chris Browns cousin.  TO ME, by the looks of things in the video combined with  knowing a bit of background on the Odd Future crew, I don’t think this is the end of it at all.  And who knows, if this is the next hip hop beef to spill over from word to action, Chris Brown may have the upper hand… he messed Robyn pretty bad.
