Moet Vending Machines?

After caviar, cupcakes and high-end mascara, now there’s a vending machine selling bottles of luxury bubbly by Moet & Chandon.  In what some see as the champagne house’s attempt at making bubbly more accessible to the general public, the new vending machine at London department store Selfridges dispenses blinged-out mini bottles of bubbly, bedecked with 350 deco-inspired Swarovski mini crystals.  The machine is located in the store’s Christmas section, where shoppers can stock up on 200 ml bottles for £18 ($29) for the holidays.  It’s the latest luxury product to find its way into an automatic dispenser at a time when consumers demand convenience and customer service is becoming increasingly automated.  This spring, Selfridges also debuted a vending machine that sold Chanel mascaras for a limited time.  And last year, the world’s first caviar vending machine debuted in the US for customers with haute snack cravings that go beyond candy bars and chips.  The Beverly Hills Caviar machine dispenses containers of caviar along with all the accoutrements needed to throw a caviar fete or satisfy midnight fish egg cravings, including blinis, truffle oil, Mother of Pearl plates and spoons and gourmet salts.

Moet Rose x Mosley Tribes – Shades.


Mosley Tribes and Moët & Chandon recently partnered to create limited edition “Rosé” sunglasses in celebration of a private four-city celebrity hosted penthouse tour called The Rosé Lounge.  Select guests of the Rosé Lounge will receive the limited edition “Rosé” Mosley Tribes sunglasses and experience an evening with local tastemakers and media that bring the Moët Rosé nightlife experience to life.  The Raynes comes with a Mineral Glass Photochromic lens that adjusts to indoor and outdoor light conditions.  Moët & Chandon and Kelly Rowland debut the Rosé Lounge with an exclusive 200-person celebration for Kelly Rowland’s new album Here I Am in NYC on July 26 (my birthday).  The Rosé Lounge will also be traveling to Atlanta, Miami and Chicago.

Scarlett Johansson x Moet & Chandon


This one’s for you Jeff… It seems Moet & Chandon Champagne has unveiled their new campaign featuring Scarlett Johansson, who has been the brand’s celebrity ambassador since March 2009.  For the 2011 Moët & Chandon Ad Campaign, British photographer Tim Walker photographed Johansson at Trianon in Epernay, North East of Paris last Fall.  Wearing a strapless pearl blue/grey dress, Scarlett is surrounded by castles of empty wine glasses as she poses on a ladder.  “Moët & Chandon, the most loved champagne since 1743, is a universal symbol of joie de vivre and success.  This campaign highlights a return to the immutable elegance and glamour that are inherent to both Moët and Scarlett” said Moët & Chandon CEO Daniel Lalonde.
