The German Justice League Posters.

It’s been a very Justice League-heavy week and don’t expect the marketing train to slow down anytime soon as we approach November and race closer and closer to the arrival of the biggest DC film to date.  Earlier, Germany’s Blu-ray Magazine has released five brand new collectible covers featuring arguably our best look at five out of the six core League members: Batman (Ben Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), The Flash (Ezra Miller), and Cyborg (Ray Fisher).  Check the method below.

You Thought The Batmobile Was Dope?

With the release of Justice League in just a month’s time, the movie’s marketing is about to come into full effect. This featurette reveals the decisions Zack Snyder and his team took in selecting cars that reflect the characters of Diana Prince and Bruce Wayne.  Diana will drive an E- Class Cabriolet while Bruce will get behind the wheel of the Vision Gran Turismo – a concept car created specifically for the Gran Turismo video game. Some footage of the cast on set can also be seen.  Check the method below.

$1 Million Street Legal Tumbler Batmobile

1-Million-Street-Legal-Batman-Tumbler

When it comes to supercars, we’re not sure there’s anything out there that even compares to Batman’s Tumbler. For the first time ever, fans of the Dark Knight can own their very own street legal Tumbler. Although it’s equipped with a V8 LS1 motor, the RWD Batmobile probably won’t compete with a similarly priced supercar. But, what it lacks in performance, it makes up in sheer awesomeness. The vehicle has been outfitted with everything Bruce Wayne would need to fight crime including five driver-assisted cameras, GPS, and 44″ swamper tires to tackle rough terrain. The 2-seater definitely requires a Bruce Wayne size bank account though, as this Tumbler is currently on the market for a cool $1 million.

Ben Affleck to Star as Batman in ‘Man of Steel’ Sequel

Superhero movie fans, we have our next Dark Knight. Oscar-winner Ben Affleck has been cast as Batman in the sequel to “Man of Steel,” Warner Brothers has confirmed. Affleck, who recently won a Best Picture Oscar for producing “Argo,” which he directed and starred in, will join Henry Cavill as Superman in the next installment of the Superman franchise. The yet-to-be titled film will be directed by Zack Snyder, who lensed “Man of Steel,” “Watchmen” and “Sucker Punch.” “Ben provides an interesting counter-balance to Henry’s Superman,” Snyder said in a statement. “He has the acting chops to create a layered portrayal of a man who is older and wiser than Clark Kent and bears the scars of a seasoned crime fighter, but retain the charm that the world sees in billionaire Bruce Wayne.  I can’t wait to work with him.” The film will bring Batman and Superman together for the first time on the big screen, and will also bring back “Man of Steel” stars Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane.

The announcement of Affleck in one of the lead roles followed weeks of speculation about who would play Batman in the hotly anticipated film. After Christian Bale, who starred in Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy, nixed the idea of returning to the role, a number of actors were rumored to be on board the project, including Ryan Gosling, Bradley Cooper and Michael Fassbender.

The announcement was made today by Warner Bros. Pictures  representatives Greg Silverman and Sue Kroll:

We knew we needed an extraordinary actor to take on one of DC Comics’ most enduringly popular super heroes, and Ben Affleck certainly fits that bill, and then some,” Greg Silverman, president of creative development at Warner Bros., said in a statement. “His outstanding career is a testament to his talent and we know he and Zack will bring new dimension to the duality of this character.

Batman x Dr. Suess?

These wonderful Dr.Seuss-inspired Batman character portraits were done by Australia-based illustrator DrFaustusAU.

There is a man who lives in a cave.
He is dark and broody and brave.
He wears a funny little hat.
And dresses up like a big bad bat.

If Gotham is in trouble
He’s there on the double.
All around there are nasties and louts.
But taking out the trash
Is what Batman is all about.
