Diesel wants you to dance, preferably while wearing their jeans. To advertise their Jogg jeans collection (an ultra-flexible jean-jersey hybrid), the brand has created an exciting montage of world-class dancers, strutting their stuff. The A-Z of Dance features the popular styles you know (twerking) and a bunch you’ve never heard of (Memphis Jookin? Whine?). The video will inspire you to bust a move, though if you want to look anything like the performers in this spot, you’re going to need more than a new pair of pants.

Warner Bros. Pictures has brought online a new featurette that takes you behind the scenes of their upcoming 300: Rise of an Empire, opening in 3D, 2D and IMAX theaters on March 7, 2014.  Directed by Noam Murro, the film stars Sullivan Stapleton, Eva Green, Lena Headey, Hans Matheson, David Wenham, Rodrigo Santoro, Igal Naor, Callan Mulvey, Jack O’Connell and Andrew Tiernan. Based on Frank Miller’s graphic novel “Xerxes” and told in the breathtaking visual style of the blockbuster 300, this new chapter of the epic saga takes the action to a fresh battlefield—on the sea—as Greek general Themistokles (Sullivan Stapleton) attempts to unite all of Greece by leading the charge that will change the course of the war. 300: Rise of an Empire pits Themistokles against the massive invading Persian forces led by mortal-turned-god Xerxes (Rodrigo Santoro), and Artemesia (Eva Green), vengeful commander of the Persian navy.

Pusha T. – Exodus 23:1.

Beef between rappers often looked upon as cliche’ or a bad publicity stunt.  But when there’s an even keel between the artists on both sides, things for hardcore fans can become a bit exciting.  Lord knows what really started the now simmering beef between Pusha T. and Lil Wayne, but Pusha seems to be taking it quite seriously with his new video for Exodus 23:1.  In the video which many people speculate is a shot at Dwayne Carter, there’s an abundance of drug use, (most likely in reference to some of Weezy’s recreational habits), and there is even a Lil Wayne semi-look-alike in parts of the video.  Check the method below.

As I posted up the other day, this little war of words isn’t one sided.  Weezy dropped the track ‘Goulish’, possibly in response to Exodus 23:1, definitely directed at Pusha T.  Click the media player below to listen.

Iron Solomon – Almost There (Official Video).

The video above is Iron Solomon destroying the once Freestyle king Jin at ‘Fight Club’.  Since Iron Solomon’s debut in the battle rap game, he’s crush many an opponent, but has yet to deliver a track noteworthy all across the nation… until now.  Check out his newest video for the track ‘Almost There’.

Riesling and Rolling Papers.

The other day, my barber Quincy randomly posed the question to me… “Who do you think is better, Pusha T, or Fab?”  (Meaning Fabolous).  My immediate response was “Why would you ask me such things?”, but that was simply a way of dodging having to actually answer the question.  A majority of the people in the room agreed that Pusha T was an incredible rap artist (which is very true any which way you spin it.)  but the whole conversation get me seriously over-analyzing the issue.  For fear of an epic, world-ending, Xerxes size army of angry emails, I still can’t say publicly who my personally opinion favors, however, the new video ‘Riesling and Rolling Papers’ from Fabolous has made a big difference on my answer to Q’s question.

A Rap Freestyle Battle Translated.

I’ve been involved in some pretty ridiculous conversations in the past, but one of the best in recent memory was trying to explain to someone what the point of freestyle battling was.  My friends and I tried to explain to a colleague that the art of matching wits with a competitor intellectually was something that other cultures have done for years.  The killer was that we found a skit on Funny or Die of what a Rap Battle might sound like if were translated for the general public.  Regardless of the tags on the video, the original battle is between Dose and Math Hoffa from S.M.A.C.K. DVD.  But the translated version is hilarious none the less.
