Greek Cypriot industrialist and art collector Dakis Joannou who green-lighted American artist Jeff Koons and Italian yacht designer Ivana Porfiri to create for him this mega yacht, ’Guilty.’ The stunning looks and amenities of this 115-feet long ship, inspired by the naval camouflage used by Britain during World War I, Guilty’s yellow rhombuses, pink triangles and blue polygons become even more amazing when reflected off the water. Onboard there are 180-degree views of the envious and awestruck rest of the world, along with plenty of bedrooms filled with museum-worthy works of art.

The Naked Ninja Warrior.

MV5BMTU5MTQzODY2N15BMl5BanBnXkFtZTcwNzA3NjI4Nw@@._V1._SX600_SY338_The Japanese and American people have quite a few inalienable differences, but one thing that seems to be a small guilty pleasure for both countries is the ‘Ninja Warrior’ competition.  For those who have never seen it, it’s a grueling obstacle course that would test the physical limits of ANY man, woman, or child from any country, or any background on the planet.  Japanese competitors do it for honor, and American’s do it for money, but the cult following behind the show is growing by the day.  Which is why I can only assume that someone would try to complete part of the course naked… for fame.

Paradise Parking by Peter Lippman

general 01 02 03

American artists Peter Lippman spent two years to find out places in forests where old cars rusts. In the series Paradise Parking photographer shows how nature takes over abandoned creations of human hands, how lying for decades old cars, overgrown with moss and ivy entangled, become a harmonious part of the surrounding space.

Hoodie Allen – “No Interruption”

Hoodie-Allen-No-Interruption-Cover

No Interruption came out almost a year ago by the independent American hip-hop artist and rapper Hoodie Allen. He has come out with newer music since then but I always come back to this song. The chorus is pretty catchy while the video is entertaining to watch as well. Check out his method below.

Skrillex And The Doors – Breakn’ A Sweat

“Breakn’ a Sweat” is a song by American electronic music producer Skrillex. It is the third track on his fourth EP, Bangarang. It features guest vocal and musical contributions from the American rock band The Doors. It was created for the 2012 documentary film Re:Generation. Musically, “Breakn’ a Sweat” has heavy influences of dubstep, electro house and progressive house. It contains a vocal sample from a 1960s interview with Jim Morrison, while the remaining members of The Doors and Skrillex did the chants. The song received generally positive reviews from music critics, with some highlighting it as the standout track from the EP.

Converse x Oscar Niemeyer Collection

American shoe company Converse has launched a new limited edition collection inspired by Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer’s work. The 104-year-old modernist architect, whose iconic buildings include the Cathedral of Brasilia, reworked five classic styles for Converse, which also reached its 104th birthday this year. The trainers, which have a subdued palette of cream and white with dashes of red, are said to be inspired by Niemeyer’s famous quote about curves:

“It is not the right angle that attracts me, nor the straight line, hard and inflexible, created by man. What attracts me is the free and sensual curve – the curve that I find in the mountains of my country, in the sinuous course of its rivers, in the body of the beloved woman.”

The footwear collection consists of the following sneakers: Chuck Taylor All Star Hi, Chuck Taylor All Star Oxford, Chuck Taylor All Star Chukka Boot, Skid Grip Oxford and also the iconic Jack Purcell.

Another Set Of Examples Of Brilliant Street Art.

Street art is honestly by far my favorite medium for visually expressing ideas.  It literally comes in all different forms, and can inspire, scare, bewilder, warn, and make people laugh.  This is probably my 9th or 10th street art collection on this blog in the last 2 years.  So although I think one or two photos may have been repeated in previous posts, check out all these incredibly interesting pieces of street art.
