Tyga Ft. Rick Ross – Dope (Official Video)

tyga-2-1024x616

Tyga released an official music video for his song “Dope” featuring Rick Ross on his VEVO YouTube channel. The video is just over five minutes long and it features a high speed car chase. The video begins with Tyga walking up to a parked car and shooting the driver. Tyga then gets into his own car and drives away. Right as he drives away cops begin to follow him and a high speed chase around the city begins. The rest of the “Dope” music video switches between scenes of the car chase and Tyga rapping inside a mansion with Rick Ross. The song “Dope” is the lead single from Tyga’s upcoming third studio album, “Hotel California”.

Tyga – Switch Lanes ft. The Game – Behind the Scenes

screen-shot-2012-07-11-at-11-02-24-pm1

Tyga gives us a “Behind The Scenes” look at his new visual featuring The Game. The track titled, “Switch Lanes” comes fresh off of T-Rawww’s latest mixtape Well Done 3. Judging by the clip I’m sure that the video will be consistent with the Young Money rapper’s usual West Coast feel.

Game ft. Chris Brown, Tyga, Wiz Khalifa & Lil Wayne “Celebration”

Game grabs Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, Tyga and Wiz Khalifa for the first single off his upcoming F.I.V.E. album, due out later this year. The track is called “Celebration” and the producer behind it is Sap. Check out the video below.

Tyga feat. Drake – Still Got It.

It was only yesterday that fans were treated to the latest visual installment from his debut album, Careless World: Rise of the Last King, with the Big Sean-assisted “I’m Gone“, and today Tyga teams up with his Young Money counterpart Drakefor the music video to their “Still Got It” collaboration.  The Iren Sheffield-directed clip sees Tyga Tyga chilling around the way, filmed in what appears to be New York City, draped in a bucket hat, a rugby shirt and gold jewelry – a very Harlem look, as championed by A$AP Rocky and Smoke DZA. Drizzy doesn’t make an appearance, but his harmonious hook plays out in the backdrop to complete this love song.

Travis Porter ft. Tyga – Ayy Ladies (Official Video).

Sometimes it boggles my mind how artists can just sit and wait on a good party track.  I’ve had the song ‘Ayy Ladies’ in rotation in my DJ sets and in my car for months and months, so when they chose to release the video a few days ago, I was a bit stunned that they waited so long before pushing the song to its full potential.

Tyga – Rack City Remix (Official Video).

Rack City was such a recognizable track, that a remix was only the logical step in keeping the banger alive on the airwaves.  This time around, YMCMB’s Tyga teamed up with Wale, Fabolous, Young Jeezy, Meek Mill and T.I. to deliver a remix worthy of radio spins I’m positive it’ll attain.  Check out the official video below.

The Bobby Effect – Unicorn Chain.

The Bobby Effect.com

Every new artist wants to have their new track make some waves all over the web the day it’s released, but its not too often that an unsigned artist gets people talking without even trying.  A premature detonation of The Bobby Effect’s “Unicorn Chain” freestyle proved quite beneficial for the female emcee.  TheBobbyEffect.com and the video for “Unicorn Chain” were stumbled upon by someone on the web and blew up in 24 hours.  Check out The BobbyEffect.com by clicking on the picture above, where you can see her on Twitter, Tumbrl, and everywhere else.

Tyga Talk.

In an interview with XXL, Tyga discussed how the collaboration with Nas came about and what we can expect from his song featuring Nicki Minaj:

“Yeah man, I sent Nas a song like six months ago and I never heard back from him but out of the blue, he called me like, ‘Yo, you doing your thing. I want to be a part of what you doing, I like everything you doing. Keep working hard. I sent him the ‘Kings and Queens’ that night and he did it the next day. I was like, that shit is crazy. Nas always talks that shit. The song, man, [his bars] added the cherry on top. It’s a real classic song. People are gonna like it. I wanna think of a dope video. The storyline of the song, the whole King and Queens [theme], it’s motivational.”

On ‘Muthafucka Up’ featuring Nicki Minaj:

“The song for Nicki is called ‘Muthafucka Up”. I don’t know what they gonna call it on the radio. Maybe they might call it ‘Up.’ That one is one of them going in type songs. Like how Wayne had ‘A Milli.’ One of those Young Money records that people love. We got a crazy visual for that one, too. I don’t wanna give it away. I’ve been doing a lot of features for everyone.”

Tyga – Rack City (Official Video).

The video for the well known club banger “Rack City” from Tyga dropped a few days ago, and much to my surprise, was a bit more than I had expected.  In the same vein as the simplistic video for “The Motto”, my expectations were set at seeing Tyga throwing money around a colored background, and some Meleena Hayes looking hotties strutting around the screen.  But the video has a bit of a story intertwined into it, which hinted to a pseudo throwback to the days of “Thriller” when video’s were like movies.  Althought the “plot” for this video is a bit confusing, and just kind of ENDS out of no where, I applaud the effort put into not just having another “Make It Rain” video.  Check the method below.

New Music: Busta Rhymes, Tyga, 50 Cent, Drake & The Cataracs.

I’m a firm believer in the truth that some beats are just made for certain rappers.  Jay-Z and Kanye West destroyed the beat for their newest single “N*ggas In Paris”, and no one can say their approach to the song was anything less than stellar.  However, it never occurred to me what a monster like Busta Rhymes could sound like over a beat that seems to have been designed for his flow.  Click the pic above to take a listen.

Tyga ft. Drake – Still Got It

Being label-mates, it only makes sense that Tyga and Drizzy-Drake would come together for a single eventually.  But I was thoroughly surprised by the quality of the record they were able to produce.  I can’t wait to hear ‘Still Got It’ playing over the airwaves soon. 50 Cent ft. The Cataracs – The Enforcer

Unexpected collaborations are nothing new to Fif, especially after tracks with Justin Timberlake, and Michael Jackson.  But his newest step outside of the box is with The Cataracs for the “Real Steel” movie soundtrack.  A nicely paced, memorable electro beat wouldn’t be the first thing you’d expect to hear 50 Cent on, but it works quite well.  Click the pic above to listen.
