With the brand new TV Spots out online on for the upcoming Avengers flick, I started looking around for any new info, and came across a series of posters courtesy of Toys R Us. The 12 designs dropped yesterday, but I’m sure will be around for quite some time. Check the method.

Marvel fans all across the globe have been laying in wait to jump all over the premier of ‘The Avengers’ in theaters. There’s no doubt that no one else in cinema history has created such a diverse net of interconnected movies all leading up to one ensemble feature film. The superbowl held a few surprises in the form of a 30 second trailer, that also had an extended version online. Yesterday however, the web was a buzz with the release of the second, almost two-and-a-half minute trailer, featuring all sorts of new action, including a fight between Ironman and Thor, The Hulk chasing Black-Widow, and Mark Ruffalo delivering the line “We’re not a team, we’re a time bomb”. Although this look at the movie sees the Avengers fighting themselves more than their enemies, there are some crazy scenes of my boy Tony Stark flying through the air, dodging and destroying things, getting into trouble, and having Hulk rescue him. For the warmest seasons of 2011 Mango has chosen to continue their collaboration with Scarlett Johansson who is the spokesmodel for the brand since 2009. The ad campaign was shot at the Casa la Ricarda in Barcelona by Mario Sorrenti. Jane How was styling director for the shoot, while hair and makeup were by Aaron de Mey and Oribe respectively. The new Mango collection, called Modernist Resort, has gone for a clean, modernist look with a focus on simple lines and minimalist silhouettes that use bright colours and graphic contrasts in the stripes to add energy. The longer skirt move towards pencil styles and slightly fuller forms, adding movement and sensuality.
This one’s for you Jeff… It seems Moet & Chandon Champagne has unveiled their new campaign featuring Scarlett Johansson, who has been the brand’s celebrity ambassador since March 2009. For the 2011 Moët & Chandon Ad Campaign, British photographer Tim Walker photographed Johansson at Trianon in Epernay, North East of Paris last Fall. Wearing a strapless pearl blue/grey dress, Scarlett is surrounded by castles of empty wine glasses as she poses on a ladder. “Moët & Chandon, the most loved champagne since 1743, is a universal symbol of joie de vivre and success. This campaign highlights a return to the immutable elegance and glamour that are inherent to both Moët and Scarlett” said Moët & Chandon CEO Daniel Lalonde.
All of the women featured on this site on a regular basis are incredibly beautiful, and have a ridiculous appeal, especially to someone in my industry. But when it comes to those more saturated into mainstream media, the look of the women begins to change. Some people have a different opinion of beauty than I do, (although Alexis Lugo is hot any which way you spin it.) but I’ve comprised a list, with a little help from a colleague, of the 25 hottest women in mainstream media. The list is comprised of faces like Miranda Kerr (who isn’t on this list ONLY because she’s already been featured on this blog) and features actresses, supermodels and entertainers in alphabetical order, because I don’t want to hear any crap about why someone is on the list higher than someone else. So check the method below, but if you think there is someone who should or should be on there, let me know.
