Alicia Keys ft. Nicki Minaj – Girl On Fire (Official Video).

R&B diva Alicia Keys releases the song “Girl On Fire” as the lead single from her fifth album of the same name due for global release on November 27 via RCA Records! “Girl On Fire” is a strong female empowerment anthem, with a fantastic nod-along hard and steady drum beat, and piano bits. Great inspiring lyrics too, and AK kills it on the vocals. So wide, so clear, so powerful. “Girl On Fire” was debuted live at the 2012 VMAs.

Jim Jones feat. Lil Wayne & T.W.O. – 60 Rackz (Remix)

Behind The Scenes With Steve Aoki: Emergency.

Go behind the scenes of the music video for Steve’s single “Emergency” with Lil Jon and Chiddy Bang. Your EMTs Steve Aoki, Lil Jon, and party starter Chiddy Bang come rushing to the scene of a party going wrong…Nothing a beer bong and some fire hoses can’t fix.

E-40 ft. Problem, Young Jeezy, Chris Brown, French Montana & Red Cafe – Function (Coast To Coast Remix)

The term “out of sight, out of mind” is something that people don’t understand the gravity of.  If there’s a war in some corner of a foreign country not as many people are aware of it as if it was on your TV screen or iPad screen every day.  Such is the way I feel about music in the Bay Area.  Coming from the Tri State area, anything that was big on the radio there, was big on the radio everywhere.  Moving out to the Bay was the first time I realized that alot of good music goes undiscovered, and I still to this day, 7 years later, haven’t figured out why.  Songs like ‘Up’ from Love Rance, and ‘Function’ from E40, Problem, & IAMSU, are tracks that have the same vibe as Drake’s ‘The Motto’, but took so much time to be heard by the entire country.  But every so often, a track like ‘Tell Me When To Go’ travels across the entire U.S. and gives Northern California a little bit of the massive shine it deserves.  Needless to say when I saw the video of the remix of ‘Function’ for the first time, I was glad that a track from the Bay was getting the attention songs from other regions get all the time.  Check the method.

Sterling Simms feat. Meek Mill – Tell Her Again (Official Video).

Watch the video for Sterling Simms “Tell Her Again”. He takes the classic song from Barrington Levy “Murderer” and flips it to a hip hop club banger.

Nicki Minaj – Pound The Alarm (Official Video).

Nicki Minaj’s next single “Pound The Alarm” has an official video it’s shot in her birthplace of Trinidad the whole video is essentially a tourist advertisement for the Carribbean island. Watch as she dances around on stage in front of speakers in feathers and around the island.

Bobby V – Mirror ft. Lil Wayne.

Bobby V can’t get enough of the ladies in “Mirror,” the first single off his Dusk Till Dawn LP due October 2. While the R&B singer has his hands full as he’s surrounded by mirrors, Lil’ Wayne drops in looking for love.

Machine Gun Kelly ft. DMX – I Don’t Dance (Official Video).

Dark Man X and Machine Gun Kelly may not bust a move, but they still manage to keep the party’s feet moving in their new video, directed by John Colombo. X’s Undisputed is still coming.

50 Cent – I Ain’t Gunna Lie (Official Video).

50 Cent stays busy and releases another music video off his DJ Drama-hosted mixtape, The Lost Tape. I Ain’t Gonna Lie. Video directed by Eif Rivera.

Rick Ross feat. Meek Mill – So Sophisticated (Official Video).

Rick Ross has just dropped a music video in support of his new song “So Sophisticated”, which features Meek Mill. The clip shows the Maybach Music Group boss eating some steaks with his pals and some beautiful girls at one point, as well as rapping among some meat hooks at another.

Directed by Dre Films, the dark-toned clip also features Rozay getting shirtless and posing beside some flashy cars along with Meek Mills. “To get a verse from me, you gotta be initiated/To get a purse from me, she gotta be sophisticated,” so the Florida rhymer raps on the verse.

Trey Songz ft. T.I. – 2 Reasons.

Trey Songz pops bottles with T.I. in the celebratory video for “2 Reasons,” the second single off his fifth album Chapter V, due August 21. The labelmates keep the liquor flowing and the ladies happy all night long in the Benny Boom-directed clip. Take it to the club with Trigga and Tip.

Meek Mill ft. Fabolous – Racked Up Shawty (Official Video).

Meek Mill and Maybach music seem to have mastered the formula for churning out hits one after another.  Take a look and listen to the next one in life titled “Racked Up Shawty”.  Just incase while watching the video and you think something’s wrong with YouTube… Its not.  There are entire segments of the video blurred out to protect the identity of certain women.  (A little odd, but still entertaining.)

Scissor Sisters – Baby Come Home (Official Video).

Watch the new video by the Scissor Sisters “Baby Come Home” the single off their new album Magic Hour.

Kanye West, Big Sean, Pusha T, & 2 Chainz – Mercy (Official Video).

After teasing the video’s release for quite some time, Kanye West dropped the visuals for “Mercy,” featuring 2 Chainz, Big Sean & Pusha-T.  The black and white paired-down video features the rappers dancing and rapping in a monochromatic parking garage, which makes sense, given that the song is named after the Lamborghini Murcielago (swerve). Say what you will about Kanye’s new songs (which have been criticized for lacking the emotion of his previous work), “Way Too Cold” and “Mercy” are unlike anything on his last solo effort, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. Kanye’s hungry, and he’s not going to do the same thing twice.

No Church In The Wild.

Instead of kaleidoscopic wizardry and flashy, Aziz Ansari-approved sports cars, the bleakly shot, Romain Gavras-directed video focuses on a violent yet somehow vaguely boring uprising in the streets of Prague. Dissatisfied youth, aggressive police, burning cars — you get the idea.  While watching it, I was secretly wishing that one of the rioters would take off his bandana and reveal himself to be Jay or ‘Ye, ready to spice things up a bit. Alas, prayers fell on deaf ears, and five minutes later, the video ends with… more rioting.  I’m not saying we have to see famous people in every music video, but when a project is basically built on megastar wattage like the Throne is, it wouldn’t hurt.  Check the method.

A-Trak & Dillon Francis – “Money Makin’” (Official Video).

“Money Makin’” is the new collab from A-Trak and Dillon Francis, out now on Fool’s Gold.

Tyga feat. Drake – Still Got It.

It was only yesterday that fans were treated to the latest visual installment from his debut album, Careless World: Rise of the Last King, with the Big Sean-assisted “I’m Gone“, and today Tyga teams up with his Young Money counterpart Drakefor the music video to their “Still Got It” collaboration.  The Iren Sheffield-directed clip sees Tyga Tyga chilling around the way, filmed in what appears to be New York City, draped in a bucket hat, a rugby shirt and gold jewelry – a very Harlem look, as championed by A$AP Rocky and Smoke DZA. Drizzy doesn’t make an appearance, but his harmonious hook plays out in the backdrop to complete this love song.
