Lil Wayne, Birdman, Future, Mack Maine & Nicki Minaj – Tapout

Lil Wayne brings the entire crew together today for the release of his new “Tapout” music video. This video was directed by Hannah Lux Davis and features Birdman, Future, Mack Maine and Nicki Minaj. Not only does the Rich Gang take the cake for an elaborate video but there is even special cameos from Paris Hilton, Christina Milian and so many more. Paris and Christina are aiming to spike the rich guy’s drink while they steal all of his valuables. Classy. Look out for appearances from Bow Wow and DJ Khaled as well.

Nicki Minaj has released a new music video for her single “Freedom” and it shows an entirely new side of the artist. Usually one for bubble-gum pink ensembles and hair, exaggerated facial expressions, and an agressive, in-your-face attitude, Minaj appears mellow, toned-down, and at times even slightly vulnerable. It wouldn’t be Nicki if there wasn’t some boundary-pushing, and the singer finds that in the biblical tone of the video. From a cross to a Noah-esque ark, Minaj is depicted as a God-like figure.

R&B diva Alicia Keys releases the song “Girl On Fire” as the lead single from her fifth album of the same name due for global release on November 27 via RCA Records! “Girl On Fire” is a strong female empowerment anthem, with a fantastic nod-along hard and steady drum beat, and piano bits. Great inspiring lyrics too, and AK kills it on the vocals. So wide, so clear, so powerful. “Girl On Fire” was debuted live at the 2012 VMAs.

Nicki Minaj is full steam ahead in the promotions for her upcoming album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded – The Re-Up, a revamp of her sophomore album, which will include a separate disc with new tracks. “Come On a Cone” is a new music video the international superstar released to fans via Twitter. The Grizz Lee-directed visuals includes clips from Minaj on tour as wells as with several rappers, including her YMCMB team. Wacka Flocka Flame, Gucci Man, Kanye West, and Kim Kardashian are just a few of the cameos in her new video.

Two of the world’s biggest pop stars collaborated for Justin’s Believe LP, available now. Justin Bieber throws a wild pool party and brings rapper Nicki Minaj along for the festivities in the brand new music video for his latest single “Beauty and a Beat.” In the clip, Bieber drags the camera around with him, showing off all the dancers, pool acrobats and sexy women as he shows viewers “the finer things in life”. Guess the whole personal footage theft saga was all a ploy for the release of this video.

Nicki Minaj ft. Rick Ross & Cam’Ron – I Am Your Leader.

It’s no secret that Nicki Minaj’s “I Am Your Leader” is one of her most racy tracks to date and correspondingly the video for the song which also features Rick Ross and Cam’ron isn’t going to be on the Disney Channel any time soon. The set for the video is a psychedelic, fluorescent-fueled house that looks pretty much exactly the way we’d imagine Minaj’s abode to look like and it sees her hanging in a pink living room before it segues into her pampering herself in a bubble bath as she spits her rhymes — all while dangling her sequined boots over the edge of the tub.

2 Chainz ft. Nicki Minaj – I Luv Dem Strippers (Official Video).

Lest there was any doubt that 2 Chainz loves strippers, the Georgia-bred rapper (born Tauheed Epps) clarifies his position on the matter in his latest video. Chainz pays tribute to exotic dancers in “I Luv Dem Strippers,” which offers no shortage of pole-grinding, booty-shaking, skimpy outfits or raining cash.

Nicki Minaj shows up at 2:20 to get in on the action, stroking dancers’ derrieres and proclaiming, “Yes, that’s why I’m crowned queen/And I ain’t lookin’ for the prom king / These h**s’ careers ain’t promising.”

Two Chainz ft. Nicki Minaj – Love Dem Strippers (Behind The Scenes).

Nicki Minaj and 2 Chainz have linked up once again, this time for 2 Chainz’s track “I Luv Dem Strippers” off his upcoming solo debut. Well today we get some exclusive, behind the scenes footage of the video shoot and all its glory. The clip was shot at Diamonds Of Atlanta, and features, naturally, some strippers showing off their assets and talents as they take to the poles.

Nicki, 2 Chainz, and director Benny Boom give their take on the video as we get some see some of the scenes play out before our eyes. Based On A T.R.U. Story drops on August 14th, show support. For now though check out the behind the scenes footage of “I Luv Dem Strippers”

Weezy’s Million Dollar Beats.

Weezy was rocking million dollar Beats By Dre headphones that were created in collaboration with Graff Diamonds courtside at the NBA All-Star game. Add that up with his diamond grills and… I’ll let someone else do the math.

And disregarding the reports of people saying that Wayne was “high as a kite”, everyone seems to be talking about the Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne kiss (on the lips no less) at the NBA All-Star game. Drake looks like he’s feeling anything but proud.

Nicki Minaj has become the latest celebrity to launch her own makeup range for Viva Glam MAC, along with singer Ricky Martin. According to their website: ‘Every cent of the selling price of MAC Viva Glam lipstick and lipglass is donated to the MAC AIDS Fund.’ Nicki’s satin lipstick, “Bright Yellow Pink,” is a creamy, vibrant Barbie pink and retails for $17.50. Ricky’s untinted lip conditioner retails for $18. Since its inception in 1994, the charity has raised about $235 million to assist men, women and children living with and affected by HIV/AIDS.

The ‘M.D.N.A.’ creator has been hyping up her musical comeback all over town, doing revealing interviews on everything from kissing Ms. Minaj after sipping on some bubbly, to her “pom-pom”-themed Super Bowl performance this Sunday (Feb. 5). And while that’s all well and good, what fans want to hear is the music. So of course, the new tune has found its way onto the internet, as a handful of other Madonna tracks already have in the past months. Tyga Talk.

In an interview with XXL, Tyga discussed how the collaboration with Nas came about and what we can expect from his song featuring Nicki Minaj:

“Yeah man, I sent Nas a song like six months ago and I never heard back from him but out of the blue, he called me like, ‘Yo, you doing your thing. I want to be a part of what you doing, I like everything you doing. Keep working hard. I sent him the ‘Kings and Queens’ that night and he did it the next day. I was like, that shit is crazy. Nas always talks that shit. The song, man, [his bars] added the cherry on top. It’s a real classic song. People are gonna like it. I wanna think of a dope video. The storyline of the song, the whole King and Queens [theme], it’s motivational.”

On ‘Muthafucka Up’ featuring Nicki Minaj:

“The song for Nicki is called ‘Muthafucka Up”. I don’t know what they gonna call it on the radio. Maybe they might call it ‘Up.’ That one is one of them going in type songs. Like how Wayne had ‘A Milli.’ One of those Young Money records that people love. We got a crazy visual for that one, too. I don’t wanna give it away. I’ve been doing a lot of features for everyone.”

Nicki Minaj has been all over the scale lyrically, at times pulling out some clever, witty, memorable punchlines, and other times, well… she seems to just spend her time in the booth goofing off. I wasn’t exactly sure why the legendary Hype Williams teamed up with her to make a video for the track ‘Stupid Hoe’, but all I can assume is that they were just having fun. Lets Make The Piano Gangster Again.

While drawing out the logistics on a new music project I’m taking on this holiday season, I was searching the web for some nice live covers of popular Hip Hop songs, and I came across “YoungPianoTV”. A young kid name Lucas who seems to be able to restructure any beat (and even lyrical notes) on his piano. Exhibiting a great ear for the composition of a song, all his covers are spot on recreations of the tracks he’s emulating. I definitely recommend taking a look at his expansive library of Top 40′s covers, and don’t forget to hit his facebook page. Props to you Lucas.
