The lovely model displayed in this post goes by the names of Honey Dawn. A go-go dancer in Hollywood, she’s appeared in videos with Keri Hilson, Rick Ross, Quincy Jones, Ludacris, Nicki Minaj, Ray J, The Cateracts, The Game, New Boys, Pitbull, Pharell, and 3 6 Mafia (among others). That’s quite the large resume for a woman with the impressive measurements of 32-24-26. Honey has also been featured in Model-Rukus magazine, Synthetikx, and SuperStreet Magazine. She also works at a bikini store part time, and attends LACC in hopes to transfer to FIDM. This Mexican, White and Filipina star has also dabbled in acting, being a featured extra in the motion picture ”Green Hat” from director Todd Phillips.

A few days ago, I found out that a very established publication had stumbled upon my little old blog, and pulled some information from me. Said publication then used this information to write an article calling myself and the company I wrote about “woman objectifying sexists”. Instead of speaking my mind and saying things I’m not allowed to say about people I’m not allowed to mention, the powers that be suggested that I demonstrate the fact I know women can be beautiful without being perceived as objects. So my staff and I went through a gambit of portfolios from different photographers, and comprised a list of the 20 most beautiful women we found. I always find it a requirement to give photographers credit for the work they do, but in this instance, there were too many random sources, and too many different locations we got photos from to be able to site every person. That being said, I hope you enjoy.

Photos always evoke certain emotions, and when composed correctly can have different meanings to each person who looks at them. Photographer Ryan Schude seems to be a master of composition and technique in his photos. The small collection I came across recently features models of all ages, and wildly creative concepts (like candy in your grandmothers purse, and milk and cookies.) But no matter what the message you take from any of his photos may be, they are all fully constructed from background to foreground with meticulous attention to detail. Check the method.
I know quite a few questions will be thrown my way right after readers glimpse the title. But I’m well aware that 2011 is almost long gone. That being the case, the folks over at ‘Reef Guys’ know their women no matter what year it is. Check the video of their brilliant 2011 calendar below. (And don’t ask why I didn’t know about it until now… I’ll be asking myself the same question all 2012.)
The Victoria’s Secret fashion show came and went recently, but with quite a fuss this year. From what I heard via an inside source, all the models this year were “Plus Sized”. (I can’t even TYPE that without rolling my eyes) But by some technical definition, any runway model over a certain size (4 or 6 or some such foolishness) is considered “plus sized”. But while I was watching the show, all the arguing about this issue was going on until everyone stopped to watch Jay-Z and Kanye West perform their newest hit ‘N*ggas In Paris’ on the runway. The performance was quite entertaining (with Kanye in his leather chaps), as the models passed down the stage during the song. Check the video from the show below.
Every so often I (or someone on my team) come across an amazing woman, who fits the credentials to be put up on this blog. Some come from expected sources, and other just kind of float into my inbox, but when my assistant put me onto a site named “Me In My Place” I was quite astounded. The wonder of “Me In My Place” is summed up most perfectly by their own little quote “Real girls in their own place. Not too crazy and just a pinch of naughty….”. Xian Quon fits this description to the T. Her photos are simple yet provocative, and seem to draw the eye of everyone without needing to be overly explicit, or blatantly sexual. All I know about Xian personally is that she currently resides in L.A. But if you feel the unyielding need to hit her up directly, you can find Xian on Twitter.
Women’s fashion isn’t necessarily my area of expertise, (if I had my way, a corset and boy shorts would be the standard for going out clothes). But having an ever increasing number of model clients, is getting me more into appreciating the formal styles that compliment a woman’s look. Georgina Chapman is someone who a few of my runway models have been pointing out to me for a while. They’ve adored her collection since she and Keren Craig began in 2004. The delicate lace, soft satin and the tattooed legs (are they stockings? I cant tell) all come together to make another collection I’ll view over and over in admiration of both her style and the bad-ass models wearing it.
Many photographers have specialties when it comes to the subject matter, or way the choose to shoot. It’s not too often I come across a photographer who’s portfolio is so extensive, I have to pic a certain style to display, but James Anthony Gilford’s work has always been unique. Some of my favorite photos of his are his portrait style photos. An exquisit mastery of lighting, both natural and artificial bring his photos to life, and bring a sense of connection with the people in the pictures. A creative perspective on photography itself guides his concepts and ideas in directions that most other photographers seldom conceive. And if skill wasn’t enough to make James Gilford’s collections incredible, he also has been able to get his hands on some pretty hot models.
The man known for his S&M slant turned his lens to Japan’s bleeding edge to shoot the second issue of limited-edition Tokyo-based style magazine The Reality Show. Director Kensui Arao filmed the behind-the-scenes action as Nobuyoshi Araki captured tastemakers including model-actress Kiko Mizuhara, model Jessica Michibata and concept band The Plasticzooms, who created the video’s original soundtrack.
The debate has raged on for millennium between both men and lesbians alike, as to which is more sexually appealing on a woman of interest, ‘Ass or Titties’ (Tops or Bottoms). Now most guys I say would just jump to option 3 and say “both”, but this is for the people who are willing to entertain the idea that you may not always have room for both. Now, it wouldn’t be hard to find the largest ass and the biggest pair of tits in the game, but that wouldn’t really serve my purpose. I tried to find two women both well endowed in all areas, but had a little extra in the desired location so things would be easier to compare on the whole… as a whole… (I’m not sure which one sounded worse, but no pun intended.) To me personally, a very slim waist and wide, fanning hips supporting a big ass is the sexiest thing in the world, but take a look at both sets of pictures, if your interested more than just the pretty faces, read the bio’s, and vote in the middle to let me know what you think… Tops, or Bottoms?

For Tehmeena Afzal, timing has been the essential element in her career. Better known as Meena amongst her fans, the Queens, NY native got her start in the entertainment industry as an entrepreneur before stumbling upon her true calling, modeling. “I used to own one of the biggest mixtape websites,” Meena explained in a recent interview with “Back then I was the only female doing something like that and it put my face out there. Once people started hearing about what I was doing, they featured me in magazines or on their mixtape covers.” Meena’s exotic look was sought after for hundreds of mixtape covers and it wasn’t long before the media took an interest. In 2008, the outgoing beauty was featured in Bachelor Magazine’s 20 Sexiest Women of the Year, and an appeared in 50 Cent’s “I’ll do anything” video, 50 Cents “Ok, You’re right”, Grafh’s “Call me up” Video, Trav’s “Ride the wave” video and The Dream ft. Rick Ross, Juelz Santana, Fabolous and Ludacris Rockin That Thing Remix” video. Also member of the CORE Models, Meena was a two-time invited guest to BET’s Rap City, once as a model for Three 6 Mafia’s segment, and again for an appearance with Chamillionaire. Though her looks may gain the initial attention, it’s Meena’s confident personality and intellect that keep people interested. Always her own boss, she started a successful Ebay business in high school prior to the mixtape website, and currently works in car sales. With a soon to be released calendar and an abundance of new opportunities, Meena’s timing seems to be just perfect.
Originally from the “Lone Star State” Austin native, Laura Dore started off as a quiet and shy girl growing up in the suburbs. Even though she was a tomboy throughout this time, she showed a great desire to be involved in the fashion industry at an early age by doing the hair of her toy dolls, and sewing clothes. As she got older, she started break out of her shell by taking part in the school orchestra with the violin being her instrument of choice, and also by becoming a member of the swim team. Always a skinny girl, Laura grew more into her body by the time she was eighteen years old, and figured that working out would be a great way to keep her body in perfect shape. By the time she was twenty-one, working out was a way of life for the Texas beauty. At first she contemplated on entering fitness competitions, but her curvaceous figure didn’t fit the criteria. During NBA All-Star Weekend back in 2006, Laura decided to enter a model competition in order to gain access to all major events taking place. The show never materialized, but needless to say she ended up getting discovered in spite of it. What followed was casting call for Show Magazine, where she earned a 12-page spread in the publication. Since then she’s been featured in Show mag, XXL Magazine, FHM Magazine, Black Mens Magazine, Lowrider Girl, the Ultimate Fight Night Calendar, the Karl Kani International Ad Campaign with Three 6 Mafia, and an array of other projects. In just two short years, she’s built up a solid resume and by the way things are going, her credits will only continue to increase. As the saying goes: “Everything is big in Texas” and Laura Dore can certainly add her name to that statement.
Medical imaging firm EIZO wanted to come up with a catchy giveaway that highlighted their expertise in “high-precision displays for the examination and diagnosis of radiographs.” The result, dreamt up by German ad firm BUTTER: A pin-up calendar in which women, truly, truly bare all. As the promotion concept puts it, “Very popular among craftsmen but quite new for medics: Pin-up calendars. At last, one which shows absolutely every detail.”
When I began featuring models on the Blog, I knew the day would come when I’d find the perfect set of twins to post up… then along came Anne and Kate. These identical twin sisters (separated by only sixty seconds) were raised in Minnesota (shout out to Adam Patton). St. Paul being known as the Twin Cities is how the came to claim the name, “The Twin Cities Twins”, although they also spent some of their years in Minneapolis as well. They both were decorated gymnasts winning state titles but after 10 years of training, both retired their first year of high school due to career ending injuries. After moving to Los Angeles the twins eventually started modeling as a hobby and began booking work quickly turn a hobby into a full time job. Kate and Anne have been in music videos, movies, campaigns, and have worked with companies such as Zoo York, T-Mobile, ROAR, Ed Hardy, American Apparel, Luxirie, and Pacific Sunwear. Their dream is to host our own TV show and one day start a nationwide foundation for at risk and underprivileged youth. It amazing to see a pair of great hearts to go along those great… everything else they have.
