Pusha T. – Exodus 23:1.

Beef between rappers often looked upon as cliche’ or a bad publicity stunt.  But when there’s an even keel between the artists on both sides, things for hardcore fans can become a bit exciting.  Lord knows what really started the now simmering beef between Pusha T. and Lil Wayne, but Pusha seems to be taking it quite seriously with his new video for Exodus 23:1.  In the video which many people speculate is a shot at Dwayne Carter, there’s an abundance of drug use, (most likely in reference to some of Weezy’s recreational habits), and there is even a Lil Wayne semi-look-alike in parts of the video.  Check the method below.

As I posted up the other day, this little war of words isn’t one sided.  Weezy dropped the track ‘Goulish’, possibly in response to Exodus 23:1, definitely directed at Pusha T.  Click the media player below to listen.

Lil Wayne vs. Pusha T.

Drake: “Are you sure you wanna diss him?”

In my community, the barber shop is normally a place where men go, and engage in conversation about whatever, and over at my boy Q’s place, discussions about the rap game are as common as hair on the floor.  Lil Wayne and Pusha T are both miraculous lyricists, but its a well known fact that Lil Wayne doesn’t normally engage in beef.  Today however, I got an earfull of Weezy taking a wide open shot at Pusha in a new freestyle above.  Below is another new release from Lil Tunchi incase you’re not interested in the beef.

Behind the Scenes: Shanell feat. Lil Wayne & Drake – So Good.

Check out some dope behind the scenes footage from Shanell’s newest video titled ‘So Good’ featuring Lil Wayne and Drake.

Joe Budden’s Mystery Collaboration Revealed.

The Hip Hop game is riddled with masterful collaborations, and combos that the would would never expect until they actually come true.  Recently Joe Buddens linked up with an emcee that is one of the games greatest, and a few folks got together at the Irving Plaza to get a sneak peak of the track.  Be warned though, the video is a bit shaky, and the split second the audience finds out who the secret collaborator is… the video cuts out.

Robin Thicke & Lil Wayne – Pretty Lil’ Heart (Official Video).

Take a look at the brand new official video from Robin Thicke featuring Lil Wayne – Pretty Lil’ Heart.

Weezy’s Million Dollar Beats.

Weezy was rocking million dollar Beats By Dre headphones that were created in collaboration with Graff Diamonds courtside at the NBA All-Star game. Add that up with his diamond grills and… I’ll let someone else do the math.

And disregarding the reports of people saying that Wayne was “high as a kite”, everyone seems to be talking about the Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne kiss (on the lips no less) at the NBA All-Star game. Drake looks like he’s feeling anything but proud.

Busta Rhymes ft. Chris Brown, Missy Elliott & Lil Wayne – Why Stop Now (Remix)

The decision that Busta Rhymes made to sign to YMCMB might have been a bit shocking to some.  People seem to have thought it might impede his ability to make great music, or that his records may not have sold as well, or… (whatever else people were thinking.  Personally I loved the decision).  The remix of ‘Why Stop Now’ is a perfect example of Bussa Buss can do not just on YMCMB, but on any label he’ll ever be on.  Between the success of the original, and the re-introduction of Missy Elliott on the remix, this song is destined to have tons of radio play.

Birdman Is Giving Out Cars Like Nino Brown.

Everyone tends to compile some sort of list of the people they’d immediately help out after they get rich.  Some would give to charity, but most would help out the family and friends closest to them.  (I know my non-biological big sis Kenya will immediately get a house).  But when your already worth half a billion dollars, you can afford to sprinkle your crew with things at random, as Birdman points on a new video-blog.  Mack Mane’s reaction to the Bentley key is pretty hilarious.  Check the method.

Lil Wayne ft. Bruno Mars – Mirror Mirror Teaser.

Lil Wayne’s “Tha Carter IV” was without a doubt a very interesting record.  Weather you purchased the extended CD, downloaded the original, or just heard most of the tracks on the radio, everyone has their favorites.  The track Mirror featuring Bruno Mars was quite a heartfelt entry onto the album, and with the video dropping soon, its no surprise that the label released a teaser.  Check the method below.

YMCMB In Australia.

It seems like Derrik G. is always on the move with the YMCMB crew now a days.  In his most recent video, he documents Baby’s progress through Hawaii to Australia for some shows on the “I Am Still Music” world tour.  Check the video below.

Lil Wayne’s Sports Corner Episode 2.

Lil Wayne is kicking off the new year with new episodes of his ‘Sports Corner’ series, which show off the rapper’s love for the NFL, skateboarding and more.  Fans of Weezy know what an avid sports fan he is, and though he missed the first weekend of 2012, he’s back with eight (yes eight) new videos for audiences to devour. The clips aren’t only of the entrepreneur’s commentary — one features an interview with San Francisco 49ers linebacker Aldon Smith. Never one to miss out on a promotional opportunity, Tunechi’s wardrobe consists of a tee from his own Trukfit clothing line. How do we know? Because he says so, very explicitly, and offers a link to his site, which is prominently displayed on the screen. Oh, and each video features friendly reminders about Young Money’s current and forthcoming releases.  Whether you’re into college football, college basketball, or even the video game MLB 7, you can check out all eight of Weezy’s videos below.

Lil Wayne’s Sports Corner.

Weezy F. Baby is ahead of the curve on many aspects, and aside from the obvious (rap) he’s a well documented sports fan.  Recently Lil Wayne got in front of Derik G’s camera and gave his low down on his sports opinions… Something he’s been doing since he was locked up.  Check the method.

The Game ft. Tyler The Creator & Lil Wayne – Martian vs. Goblins (Official Video).

The song “Martians vs. Goblins” has been on constant spin for months in my car.  The deep bass and over the top lyrics seem to be a hit with whoever rides shotgun, but the video that dropped yesterday is an entirely different animal.  Check the method below, and be impressed.

Lets Make The Piano Gangster Again.

While drawing out the logistics on a new music project I’m taking on this holiday season, I was searching the web for some nice live covers of popular Hip Hop songs, and I came across “YoungPianoTV”.  A young kid name Lucas who seems to be able to restructure any beat (and even lyrical notes) on his piano.  Exhibiting a great ear for the composition of a song, all his covers are spot on recreations of the tracks he’s emulating.  I definitely recommend taking a look at his expansive library of Top 40′s covers, and don’t forget to hit his facebook page.  Props to you Lucas.

DJ Storm ft. Lil Wayne, Cam’ron, GOV, Lil Kim & Three 6 Mafia – ‘Hott Sauce’.

Click the pic to listen.

Weather many folks are familiar with “The Mix Up” or not, it remains one of my favorite collections of music ever. (And I SWEAR it’s not just because I made it). The “album” consists of just under a dozen tracks that are comprised of main stream rap lyrics blended with more classic/underground hip hop beats and sprinkled with tons of samples from popular culture. The premise and subject matter of each song is different and each song has it’s own particular flavor, but my favorite track to this day is “Hott Sauce”. I have a bit of a fascination/addiction to the little physical act described in the song, and listening to it makes me laugh every single time. With lyrics from Lil Wayne, GOV, Cam’ron, Three 6 Mafia and Lil Kim, “Hott Sauce” is not one to play in front of your parents, but I’m sure you’ll enjoy it none the less.  Click the pic to listen.

T-Pain ft. Lil Wayne – Bang Bang Pow Pow.

Click the pic to listen.

T-Pain grabs a verse from Lil Wayne for this T-Minus produced-track titled “Bang Bang Pow Pow” that will appear on Pain‘s rEVOLVEr album, dropping on December 6th. You can listen and download the T-Wayne collabo above.  Click the pic to heck it out.

YMCMB’s Newest Artist.

A few days ago Lil Wayne announced the newest addition to the Young Money Cash Money Business crew.  Check out the surprising new addition in his 2nd public service announcement.

YMCMB In Hawaii.

It’s no surprise to anyone that Birdman and the YMCMB crew do it big.  But this 12 minute docu-film about a recent trip to the U.S.’s 50th state was still quite interesting to watch.  Check the method below.

Robin Thicke ft. Lil Wayne – Pretty Lil Heart.

Click the pic to take a listen.

Robin Thicke and Lil Wayne may appear to be a fairly random combination to the layman, but these two have teamed up in the past.  On Lil Wayne’s 2008 destroyer of an album ‘Tha Carter III’ the song ‘Tie My Hands’ featured a chorus from Thicke, and (in my personal opinion) was one of the best non-singles of the album.  Click the pic above to hear another collaboration from the duo titled ‘Pretty Lil Heart’.

Skateboard Stuntin’.

A soundtrack is often one of the most important, yet overlooked part of any movie.  No matter what the film is about, the music and timing of said music is crucial.  That being said, it’s pretty obvious that when the right piece of material has the right music behind it, things blend mellifluously, and there’s no better example of this than the Rebelo FF I came across a few days ago.  The skate tricks these kids pull off are top notch, all played over a very unexpected piece of music that (to me) makes the finished flick far more dope.

Behind The Scenes With Trina.

Recently, Trina and Mr. Collipark got together to put out the track “Red Bottoms”.  Personally, I feel like with Trina’s obvious absence from the rap game, a new release may have been met with some skepticism by many, but rest assured Red Bottoms seems to be quite the banger.  The behind the scenes video by Derrick G, and 305 Films shows a little of the thought process behind the video, and even some looks things like dancers rehearsals.  Aside from the back up dancers, (including the world famous, Chi Town based ‘Footwork Kings’) Trina herself engages in some pole dancing wearing a wild yellow outfit and of course her Red Bottoms.  Director Gil Green, seems to have put together what could possibly be quite the comeback record for Trina.  With all the different dancers, different styles of dance, and Trina’s… talents on screen, this video should be a memorable one.  Check the method below.

Lil Wayne’s Public Service Announcement.

I was supposed to be in a studio session that didn’t pan out today, and as a result I landed in my boys apartment relaxing with some of my closest homeboys.  My homie David Ali peeped out an alert on twitter that brought about one of the most entertaining half hours of my year.  Lil Wayne posted up a 28 minute long video (filmed by his video man Derrik G) that initially started out with Steve Job’s as the topic, but quickly branched out to almost any and every topic that seemed to come to Wayne’s mind.  Thoroughly entertaining, and wildly funny at parts, it’s definitely worth watching the entire half hour.

Lil Wayne’s Birthday.

Birthday celebrations come in many forms, but with celebrities, you can expect the extravagant, the ridiculous, the most debaucherous.  But surprisingly enough, Lil Wayne’s 29th birthday was rather calm, cool, and a simple get together with some cake.  A bit unexpected, but when you’re Weezy, I suppose you can do whatever you damn well please.

YMCMB vs. The Fantasy Factory.

It’s always interesting to see two worlds collide, but although Rob Dyrdek and his little cousin Drama might not seem to be the type to hang with Young Money, nothing could be farther than the truth.  The majority of the YMCMB crew (excluding Drake, and J Mills) came down to the world famous Fantasy Factory in L.A. to kick it with Drama and friends to play ball, go kart, and just relax.  Check the method below.

YMCMB Take L.A. (VMA’s And Lil Wayne’s C4 Release Party)

There’s no doubt that YMCMB has been doing it big for a few years.  But when the entire group descended on Los Angeles, for the Video Music Awards, and Lil Wayne’s record release party, things got a little crazy.  Check the method below.
