Yves Behar’s Silav004 Watch.

When considering the reading of time and designing a new watch, renowned designer Yves Béhar asked himself one question: “Why do I need to see all twelve numbers, when what I really need to see is just one?”.  The result of this idea is the VUE time piece for Issey Miyake—a watch that reveals only one given hour and a single hand indicating the minutes of that hour. It’s a refined concept, brought into production thanks a trusted collaboration with Issey Miyake. The piece is sure to become an iconic collectors item when we look at the value of this time piece collection—marking a significant era in the history of the Issey Miyake brand.

About these ads

Jessica Cadavid.

Jasmin Cadavid was born and raised in Miami. Extremely active, ambitious, and flexible, it’s no suprise that this post is among the largest I’ve posted up of any model.  Jessica absolutely loves anything to do with sports and fitness, traveling, luxury, animals and nature.  Her nationality is an exotic blend of Colombia and the Philippines, and with measurements of 34-25-36, she’s obviously a head turner.  She’s been featured in Smooth Girl Magazine, BlackMen Magazine, Lowrider Magazine, Rides Magazine, Mixed Magazine, and ICE Magazine to name a few.  As for music video’s, she’s worked with a gambit of different artists including Birdman, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne
Bow Wow, Red Cafe, Omarion, Pitbull, Cam’Ron and Vado.

Chanta Patton.

Chanta Patton is one hell of a Christmas present, born on December 25th, 1986 in North Carolina.   Ms. Patton grew up in Baltimore as a teen and as a step into the field, she won Baltimore’s Next Top Model.  An impressive modeling resume may set certain people apart from the crowd, but Chanta also attended Coppin State University earning a degree in Applied Mathematics.  Although Chanta has been getting herself quite noticed in the urban scene, she intends to make the jump into features very soon, and has already been featured in videos with Nelly, Kardinal Official, Akon, Snoop Dogg, Too Short, Ludacris, Lil Wayne, T Pain, Young Jeezy and Usher.  Take a look at more of her pictures below.

Clique – Not Your Average Art Show.

Its no secret that I’ve been taking a little hiatus since 2012 began, and I knew it’d take quite a special event to get me back behind the tables for the rest of the year.  My good friend and multi-talented artist Stephanie Balistreri invited me to work the ‘Not Your Average Art Show’ presentation in San Francisco.  The show takes place this coming Thursday and features an incredible array of artwork from Stephanie, Jennifer Hansen, Kevin Moore, Olivia Chen, Celina Hodge, Ellen Coleman, Lindsey Millikan, JinHee Lee, Brandi Lee, and special guest artist Kim Froshin.  ‘Not Your Average Art Show’ will be held at The San Francisco Design Center, (2 Henry Adams Street, San Francisco, CA 94103, on the 3rd floor).  The show starts at 5 p.m. and ends at 8.  To see some pieces from the artists that will be displaying work in the show, check out the examples below, and read the official synopsis from the Clique website.

A diverse group of emerging artists join together to present an innovative art show. This ‘name your own price’ event allows anyone and everyone to be able to afford a piece of art. Questioning the status quo, these 8 women brazenly dare to hang their work without a listed price. They invite the viewer to bid whatever they want and at the end of the night the highest bid wins. The consumer is given the power to assign value to a product, and everyone who attends is automatically a potential collector. This auction style event has been carefully designed from every angle to sell everything in one night.

Each member of ‘Clique’ has donated a 12” x 12” painting to be auctioned off through a $1 raffle. Fifty percent of proceeds from the raffle benefit the charity “Dress for Success.” In addition, Kim Frohsin is auctioning a painting with 100% of proceeds benefiting the charity.  This amazing organization not only provides suits and training to women for job interviews, but also assists them in retaining their employment. One donated painting will be a mystery panel to be unveiled at the end of the show.

Free food, music and refreshments will be provided. The showrooms at The San Francisco Design Center have agreed to remain open throughout the event allowing you to wander through their amazing inventory… adding to what’s sure to be an unforgettable experience.

Carmireli Trani.

Miss Carmireli Trani is a 34-24-37 beauty born in Puerto Rico.  This gorgeous triple threat is a model actress, and singer. She’s been singing and acting since she was 12.  It’s no secret I have a deep affection for tattoos, I noted Carmireli has 2 on her hips and a huge one from her lower belly to under her right arm. Check some more of her pictures below, and feel free to check her out on twitter @Carmireli88.

Shay U.K.

Shay U.K. has enormous…. potential, huge… work ethic, and a large… portfolio, so instead of writing my own piece on this one of a kind 30JJ- 26- 37,  5’8 beauty, I’ll let her tell her own story.

I was born in Kenya and I’m the youngest of 6 kids, I moved to the UK, London when I was two years old with my family. I come from a very cultured background and we were always taught to never forget where we came from so I do speak more than one language, hearing me speak you’ll find that I don’t have the ‘typical’ British accent. I’m a mix of Kenyan, Italian, Arabian and Portuguese. I grew up being a tom boy, the person that who was always one of the firsts to get chosen for a team. I’m very good at sports and I do believe that deep down I still am :-) My first appearance on TV was for my art work! I was on Blue Peter, a kids programme here in the UK. I have always been good at art and using my vision as well as imagination very well.

I always did get good grades at school, but I wasn’t perfect. I messed around but I knew my education is part of my priorities and I can not forget that. I guess I was one of the trouble makers in class, most of my friends were guys, I’ve always been one of the popular people. When I hit highschool, things changed. I guess ‘puberty’ kicked in, I didn’t really like my body. My boobs grew and I was chubby (fat), I was a fat kid/teen, I was a size 36 DD when I was only 13 years old. People always used to take advantage out of me in school because I was too nice and humble but they knew that once I turn the other page it’s a complete different me. I have kept friends from when I was really young and I do believe I’m a very honest, humble, trustworthy, kind, hardworking and a go getter.

I started dancing when I was 16 years old, joined dance schools and even took Dance as a course in school. One day after my dance session at Pineapple Studios, I was approached by Luire Magazine. I was suprised because I never thought that I had ‘model’ potential, Luire Magazine is a Japanese fashion magazine and they snapped me for London Fashion Week. I was so excited, I remember the feeling. After the shoot, I guess love came into my life and I’ve been inlove since but there was a problem and that problem was MY WEIGHT. I noticed I was starting to lose weight and the weight I was losing was my body but NOT breasts. I knew that I weren’t a plus size model anymore. I left modelling for a bit. When I turned 18, I began a myspace page and added my pictures etc…

The internet is a CRAZY place! You’d be suprised what you can do by just using the internet. I got approached by a whole lot of people on the internet and had my first proper photoshoot as Shay The UK Bombshell. I got the name UK Bombshell because a lot of people started called me that on myspace and I thought “Hey let me not just stick to my name.” When Shay The UK Bombshell came out I think that’s when life really began for me… The love was always there.

I made a lot of connections through the internet especially being from an ethnic background and living in the UK it’s harder because there are MUCH MUCH more opportunities in the USA for women of an ethnic background. Since my first glamour photoshoot, I have carried on having numerous photoshoots, became Jumpoff’s MISS JUNE and appeared on the CD cover, published in magazines such as Juice Magazine, ZOO magazine etc… I did my first music video in 2009 which was for a UK artist.

The FIRST UK model to be featured as KING Web Girl of the week, featured on Soulja Boy’s website http://www.sodmgmodels.com and I’m the FIRST coloured skin from the UK.

I plan on making my way to the USA soon. I don’t intend to always do modelling, I believe that looks fade away but when you have a brain and know how to use it IT WILL GET YOU VERY FAR, your brain doesn’t age you just start knowing things better. I see “Shay” as a brand, hopefully be able to have my own merchandise, become an actress etc… Business orientated.

Toni Burnett & Danielle Lo.

At a certain age, boys start to do things like sneak peeks at lingerie catalogs, and hunt down old playboy magazines just to get a glimpse of women in a way they’ve never seen before.  This child-like fascination goes away with time, (and experience) but I’ve found two models who seem to have brought it back for me.  The first, Toni Burnett (above), is of Guynese heritage and currently resides in the Washington D.C. area.  Although her work is simply stunning, and she seems to capture the camera in a way that not many models can, her true strength comes from her business savvy.  Being a strong woman of color definitely ads to the repertoire that makes Ms. Burnett fascinating and unique.  Hailing from an entirely different set of regions is Ms. Danielle Lo (below).  German, Irish, English, Chinese, and Austrian is quite a potent mix for such a diversified model.  Danielle has been modeling for over 6 years, and has traveled to more places than a Geography teacher can point out on a map.  Her photos always reflect an uncanny knowledge, and total love of what she does.  Ms. Lo’s winning personality and love of just making the people around her happy, reinforce her own personal motto:  “Looks may draw a person in, but it’s your wit and charm that will keep them around”

The New Porsche ‘Macan’ SUV.

Porsche‘s new compact SUV is to be called the Porsche Macan, derived from the Indonesian word for ‘tiger’, the luxury German automaker confirmed February 16.  Releasing the first teaser sketch and video for the model, Porsche also confirmed that it will begin production in 2013 as the fifth Porsche model line, following in the footsteps of the larger Cayenne SUV.  The firm’s first impressions show a low, sleek model which is known to be based on the Audi Q5 platform, with a sportier styling and premium interior.

It is believed that the model will feature 2.0 and 3.0 liter gasoline and diesel engines, slightly more powerful than those in the Audi Q5, with a Macan Turbo S also expected to follow, possibly alongside a hybrid model.  In a statement, Porsche said that the animal roots of the name Macan, which is derived from Indonesian language, reflected the model’s characteristics such as “suppleness, power, fascination and dynamics.”  Its introduction is likely to mark the start of a turf war between Porsche and Maserati, which introduced its own (admittedly larger) Kubang SUV last year.

Miss Maria Milian.

A native of Queens, New York, Maria Milian spent most of her life in the lush, vibrant tropics of South Florida. Her natural inclination toward the arts was nurtured from an early age by her father, a Berkley educated musician, and her mother, an accomplished model and singer. Their constant support endowed her with a fierce determination and unparalleled passion for all forms of creative expression. Of Armenian and Spanish descent, Maria Milian possesses an exotic look that has helped her achieve notoriety throughout South Florida as a mysterious beauty and to establish herself as one of the premiere faces of the region.

Maria’s first foray into the modeling industry was pageants. At the urging of her parents, Maria entered and won the Miss Southeast Florida Teen pageant in 1999 and went on to become a semi-finalist in Miss Florida Teen All-American that same year. Fueled by her victory, Maria began to explore other opportunities and soon found a calling in professional modeling. Maria has worked as a model in a number of fashion shows throughout the area, including Gata Malu and Amaya Swimwear.

Maria has worked in many media, including music, television, and print. She has appeared in numerous promotional materials throughout South Florida, sought out not only for her exotic beauty, but also for her strong ambition and professionalism. She has been featured on HipHopVideoVixens.net, Pyrogen Studios & Entertainment and as MiamiParties.com “Girl of the Month.”

Not one to forget her musical roots, she has appeared in music videos, among them Rick Ross ft. R. Kelly “Speeding” Currency ft. Lil’ Wayne “Where Da Cash At?” and T-Pain “I’m In Love With A Stripper (Remix).” She has also been writing and producing her own original material for an upcoming as-yet-untitled album due out in the near future. The sound brings together elements from her heritage and her upbringing for a sound that is both fresh and innovative.

Another Look At Jessica Castillo.

About a year ago I came across a talented, sultry, sexy, interesting, and intensely well proportioned UK model by the name of Jessica Castillo, and as I usually do, I voted with the rest of the males on my staff and threw up a post on her.  Then a few months later I was lucky enough to get in contact with her for an interview that blew the blog up, and that was about all there was to it.  But it seems like this blossoming model has moved by leaps and bounds in the last year.  She’s catching more eyes than ever, with bookings from Dubai to Miami she’s blasting forward with her modeling career and her generous proportions.  Ms. Castillo’s got a new Facebook fan page up, and a gang of new pictures (some with that damn cherry tattoo I can’t get enough of).  Before I sign off with my usual “check the method”, I have to apologize to the guys who are undoubtedly disappointed by the censorship of the photos immediately above and below this text.  I know I’ll get at least 3 emails asking where guys can find photos of Jessica wearing less than she already is, but in the interest of not pissing off my sponsors, I can’t put them up here.  BUT if you’re dying to see them that bad, hit Jess up on twitter at @Jessi_Castillo and ask her for them yourself… you might just be lucky enough to see what I did.  Check the method.

I’m sorry, I’m just obsessed with that cherry tattoo.

The Rolls-Royce Bespoke Boom.

More than half of clients who specified a Rolls-Royce Ghost in 2011 turned to bespoke personalization.  The service, which includes anything from the application of unique paint colours, coach lines and tread plates to whole vehicle designs featuring champagne sets, humidors and picnic cabinets, helped drive Rolls-Royce to record sales last year.  In total, 56% of Ghost and Ghost Extended Wheelbase models sold around the world featured bespoke design in 2011.  The move to highly personalized Rolls-Royce Ghost models follows an increase in sales of bespoke Phantom family cars last year.

More than eight in every ten Rolls-Royce Phantom models passed through the hands of the team’s designers and skilled craftspeople, before being delivered to a client.  In August 2011 Rolls-Royce announced an expansion of its bespoke operation to meet growing demand, doubling the number of bespoke experts working at the Home of Rolls-Royce in Goodwood by the end of the year.  The company is also about to expand its manufacturing facility, partly due to the increase in demand for bespoke cars. Work will begin next month.

Jessica Burciaga.

I’ve written an abundance of posts in testament to the beauty and intrigue of different models over the years, and every so often, finding biographical information can be hard to come by.  Luckily, in the case of the immensely beautiful Jessica Burciaga, she did all the work for me.  Below is her total auto self composed biography.  Enjoy.

I was born Jessica Irene Burciaga on April 11th 1983. I was 7 pounds 8 ounces. I was born and raised in southern california. I have two younger brothers (Blake & Duke) that mean the world to me and would do anything and everything for them. I’m very big on family and extremely close to them. My brothers are my best friends. My grandma….where do I start I could talk to her all day and night and i never want to leave her house, she’s always there for me, weather it’s boyfriend problems, advice on life or just girl talk, she also makes the best mexican food and salsa! I love her so much. My dad (Ty) has the biggest heart of anyone I know, I love him so much and my step-dad (Mike) has always been there for me and treated me like his own and gave me everything growing up. My mom’s name is Lisa and she’s one of the coolest people i know if you want it straight and to the point ask my mom a question…ha! it might not be what you want to here but she wont sugar coat anything. I think I get most of my personality from my mom. She loves me unconditionally and always wants to protect me from everything. I can’t tell you how many times my mom came down to the school to yell at all the girls that tried to beat me up after class or that were just jealous girls that hated me for no reason. She almost fought this Senior girl in high school cause my mom said that girl was 18 so she was an adult now :) That girl never looked at me again! When it comes to her daughter everyone better watch out cause she don’t fuck around! haha! Were more alike than i’d like to admit. I’m a very blunt person and will never put up a front… I always say what’s on my mind and yell when i want, cry when i’m hurt, laugh when i’m happy and dance around the house daily!

I’m not hard to please at all the simple things in life make me happy and i’m far from materialistic and love to shop at Swap Meets more than the mall. All I need to make me happy is a barbecue at my aunt and uncles house, carne asada on the grill, a corona in my hand, hearing my little cousins running around the house, watching the Laker game, my aunt making martinis, all the girls talking in the kitchen and my brother and cousins playing drums and making music in the garage…and all this at once. It’s the best and I love it!

At night I enjoy a glass of wine and a bubble bath and I have to take one every night before I go to sleep. I love to sleep and hate to wake up before noon and rather order in take-out than go to a restaurant

Lets see…as long as I can remember I’ve always been a little trouble maker in school and a bit boy crazy! Even in kindergarten I remember the boys running away from me when i would chase them around the sand box…ha! (they’re not running anymore!) I was always an outgoing girl in school and far from shy. Very talkative and funny. My letters from the teachers in elementary school use to go something like this….”Jessica is a pleasure to have in class, she brightens our day and always has her homework on time but she talks to her classmates way too much, she’s boy crazy and disrupts the class reading time”

In high school I got sent to the principals office daily for violating the stupid dress code! haha! i think they made up a new dress code policy just for me! Everything from showing too much cleavage and (distracting the boys as they put it) to my ripped jeans below my butt cheeks, skirts too short and tops that showed too much tummy… I had my belly pierced in high school and I wanted to show it, they couldn’t stop me :)

Something about me though that has never changed and will never change is two things…. My desire to be in front of the camera and putting my family first in everything that I do in my life. Their opinions and thoughts mean everything to me. I would never do anything my family was against. They’ve always backed me up in my life and have been very supportive.

Since the 6th grade I knew i wanted to do something in the lime light. One day before school in the 6th grade a show called “Good Day LA” came on! When I first saw Jillian Barbarie I thought to myself “that’s what i want to do!” So after high school I tried getting into modeling first or tv but nothing really big happened for me … a couple extra parts in “buffy the vampire slayer” and “Charmed” and music video stuff that I promised myself I would never do again. That was the worst! But we have to start somewhere i guess…My dream was to be in MAXIM or Stuff or FHM not some cheesy music video. I wanted people to know my face not see me in the background somewhere.

So anyway I enrolled in jr. college and got a job at Hooters in Anaheim CA. I also attended a sports broadcasting school in Huntington Beach CA. I met a photographer that wanted to shoot me for like a year but it was hard for me to trust anyone, but he took some friends pictures from Hooters and all their pics were pretty good so a year later i decided i would let him shoot me. I was so nervous because for one I was taking pictures at the beach with a photographer I didn’t know, I never modeled in my life, nor was I comfortable in a little bikini and i didn’t think i knew how to pose and I was 20 years old. The photographer got upset with me cause i didn’t want to wear a thong and do real sexy poses so he mailed me the cd with my pics on it and said he never wanted to shoot me again and that i wasted is time and film, I felt horrible. The cd collected dust on my dresser for 7 months until my brother told me about this article in STUFF MAGAZINE. It said “If you think you have what it takes to be a Stuff Model send your pics here.

My brother said they would definitely call me back and helped me pick out a couple pics form the cd the photographer mailed me. I never dreamed they would call but sure enough a month later they did. I’ll never forget that day. I was at this park that I have been going to since i was a little girl laying on the grass reading a book, just thinking how much I wanted to get into modeling. It was so weird that I was just thinking about it and all of a sudden my phone rang with a New York number. When I answered they said “Hi Jessica we really love your look and would love to fly you out to New York for a photoshoot next thursday, are you free?” I called my mom and my grandma and we all started screaming! we were so excited That next week I was on a flight to New York and scared cause I never stepped foot on a plane and hated the thought of flying. But when i got there it was awesome, they treated me like a princess, a limo to pick me up, the best hotel in Manhattan and the driver took me anywhere i wanted to go. I got a whole page in Stuff in the August 2005 issue. When I picked up the magazine i couldn’t believe it one of my dreams came true! After that, Stuff Magazine called me back and wanted to enter me into this contest for their Neighborhood Knockout section, I would win $5,000 a second spread in the magazine and EA sports would make me into a video game for Fight Night Round 3.

When they called me to tell me I won, my grandma and I were shopping and getting ice cream, we started jumping up and down and screaming again ( we love to scream)! That was my second time in Stuff but this time I got 4 pages in the March 2006 issue. After that Maxim Magazine called me and i did a page for them in june 2006 and Modified Mag called me as well and I was their cover girl in june as well so 2 magazines out in the same month! I was so happy!! I was finally doing what I loved. Now I also made 2 more covers for Performance Auto & Sound for the month of Nov. 2006 and their special edition “The Girls Of Performance Auto & Sound”. Also a spokesmodel for Hot Import Nights and currently “Miss HIN San Jose”!

You can also see me at the Playboy Club in Las Vegas at the PALMS Hotel where I work part-time as a Bunny black jack dealer.

The Crashed Ferrari Coffee Table.

This is a coffee table containing the compacted remains of a Ferrari inside constructed by designer Charly Molinelli.  He came up with the idea after a customer asked him to design something “a bit special” for their front room.  He then sourced a wreck and built a wooden cabinet on wheels to present to his client – although the price of the swanky piece is unknown.

Brooklyn Baylee x Enny M Photography.

It’s a well known fact that I’m always throwing photographers up on this blog, I’m a fan of vivid images, and people who capture riveting subjects with their work.  It’s also a fact that this blog is well known for the models I put up every few days, so I thought it a bit appropriate to combine the two for once.  The photographer Enny M. has been doing work with he Dominican-American Brooklyn Baylee for a little while now, and his combination of lighting, concept, and skill behind the camera seems to capture Ms. Baylee perfectly.  Brooklyn was born and raised in Northern New Jersey in 1985 and is the youngest of seven children. This fiery beauty is more than just a pretty face however. She is currently obtaining her Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with hopes of working for Homeland Security.  Ms. Baylee has a wide range of talents other than her… astonishing 34F chest. She began studying dance at the age of eight and singing before she was able to speak which makes her someone to look forward to as her career progresses in the coming years.

Enny M. is a freelance photographer from northern New Jersey with over half a decade of photography experience.  His expertise doesn’t stop at women.  His street racing collection of photos you can find scattered around the web are a great example of how versatile and multifaceted his skills are.  Currently a college student with a Information Technology major and he is also a photography intern at a prominent studio in the Tri-State area.  If there are any models interested in shooting, he says the best way to contact him is through email at ennymphoto@gmail.com or his website.  But I do suggest going online and checking out the bulk of his portfolio.

Suelyn Medeiros.

This ambitious, sweet and exotic Brazilian beauty, Suelyn Medeiros. Living most of her life in and out of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, she returned to the U.S to follow her big dream of becoming a doctor. Despite all the advice from friends and strangers that she should not put to waist her spontaneous personality and unique beauty and should become a Model.  In 2005 Suelyn was invited by a friend to participate in a fashion show at fashion week in NYC and there she was scouted by an agency. She began to do photo shoots and book countless jobs. Soon modeling was no longer seen as a hobby it became a career option. Suelyn was intrigued by the charming magical world of fashion.  No longer ignoring her possible star quality with her drive, and strive to succeed in something that became a new challenge she worked hard and in a little less than two years she has been on covers, various magazine spreads, swimwear catalogs, lingerie catalogs, clothing and beauty ad campaigns with the most recent L’Oreal Ad. Her interest in acting has landed her in Music videos, Commercials, TV Shows and two movies on the works. She’s been on Law & Order (one of my personal favorite shows) and featured in the movie “I Think I Love My Wife” with Chris Rock.

Sarah Jane Swag.

I have to start out by saying I’m NOT bragging, but after some of women I’ve featured on this blog have gotten me onto CNN, and Sports Illustrated, I feel like I have a pretty good eye.  And although I’ve featured a gambit of models, with varying looks and styles and experience levels, but its rare to put a model up that’s cut entirely from a different cloth.  Sarah Jane is light years ahead of the “I look good half naked with my sexy face on” type of models that scatter the airwaves now a days.  This Texas raised beauty spent her growing years in Dallas, and made a move to the bay area some time after high school.  To date, her modeling portfolio is quite stunning and seems to be getting bigger by the day.  She can personify any style, is commanding of the camera with any photographer she shoots with, and can play any character a shoot could call for.  All in all, I’d have to Sarah Jane is one of the most well rounded, versatile, and ‘swagged out’ artists I’ve come across in a while.  You can check her out on twitter @SarahJaneSwag, and check out her pictures below.

Ashley Logan.

Ashley Logan is an incredible Irish and Hungarian model straight out of New York City.  This 5’2 video vixen has been in music video with everyone from G-Unit, Grafh, Kay Slay, Papoose, Junior Reid, Tony Yayo, Juelz Santana, The Dream, Fabolous, Rick Ross, Ludacris, and of course the ever famous FloRida video ‘Low’.  You can also see her and her two amazing, round, full, mesmerizing… blue eyes in Riding Big Magazine (Ying Yang Twins Edition), Next Level (the Mary J Blige Edition), the cover of Free Agent Magazine, as well as both Straight Stuntin and Smooth Magazine.  She’s a constant reminder of how beautiful women on the East are.

Heather Feather.

Heather Feather may not be your generic southern California beauty. Raised in Orange County, and born on August 11th, she’s the youngest of two children, and has been active in everything from cheerleading to the swim team.  After her mother passed in 1992, she was inspired to sing and honed her craft by mimicing the singing styles of various artists . Having taken ballet, jazz, hip hop and modern dance, Heather found her niche in go-go dancing. At the age of 18, she moved out and began travelling for work and has been to almost every state in the U.S. Not only can Heather heat things up physically, with her sexy photos.  She began modeling at 18 and has worked with a long list of photographers and companies, including import show, and movies.  Places you may have seen Heather are websites, magazines, music videos, gogo dancing or on TV shows. She loves what she does and believes she is good at her “job”.

The Ultra Modern Benz A-Class.

Mercedes-Benz has unveiled a radical overhaul of its A-Class compact at Auto Shanghai. The German automaker said that the new Concept A-Class was “the first heartbeat of a new generation.”  It signals a major departure from the boxy outline of the current A-Class, popular in cities because of its small size, in favor of a long hood, low silhouette and more sporty appearance.  Mercedes-Benz design chief Gorden Wagener said that the new look was inspired by “the wind and waves, as well as aviation engineering, resulting in this ‘cool’ look.”  Designed to take on premium urban cars such as the Audi A1 and BMW 1-Series, the redesigned A-Class packs a turbocharged four-cylinder engine from the new M270 series, developing 155 kW with a transmission the automaker says is economical, sporty and comfortable.

With a large panoramic roof, the Concept A-Class is particularly airy, reinforced by the aircraft-inspired interior which has resulted in component groups being reduced to a minimum and a high-tech lining which gives the dash a “free-floating” effect.  A smartphone holder has been integrated into the center console, allowing drivers to operate their handsets from the car’s infotainment system designed by Mercedes-Benz technical teams in Silicon Valley (Palo Alto), California.  The addition of a radar-based collision warning system, which warns the driver of a potential collision and primes the brakes, could help to prevent around 20 percent of all rear-end collisions, and mitigate the severity of a further 25 percent, according to the automaker’s research.

The Fenix Supercar…

A new supercar under the Fenix Automotive banner and shares similarities with the old M12 and M400 cars, while it shares features like the general shape and specs as that of the Noble M600. The Fenix will be powered by a choice of Chevrolet V8 powerplants, so customers can choose between 480 Horsepower LS3 or the 638 HorsepowerLS9 from the Corvette ZR1. It has a projected curb weight of just 2,645 pounds which aids the supercharged Fenix to sprint from 0-100mph in under 7 seconds and also reach a top speed of 200 mph.

The company is developing its first prototype at it’s manufacturing facility in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. The level of performance and sophistication that Fenix offers is way better than the rival thorough bred sportscar at almost half the price. The Fenix supercar is expected to go on sale in the UK in the second half of 2010 and US as well.  Keep in mind, these are some of the first images to be released.
