Halo 4 and the Master Chief got its gameplay debut yesterday during Microsoft’s E3 2012 conference with a colossal gameplay trailer using both live action and also Xbox 360 in-game footage.
Originally thought to be the flagship game for the potentially upcoming Xbox 720, the now Xbox 360-bound trailer shed light on both what the Halo 4 single player campaign would look like and also showcased both the new-look Covenant and ancient foes the Forerunners.
Halo 4 storyline:
The trailer also shed light on the Halo 4 plot revealing that the Master Chief would not be the only human stranded on the Forerunner planet, he will be joined by the surviving crew members of the UNSC Infinity, a titanic exploration vessel that has been pulled onto the planets surface.
Halo 4 weapons:
Appearing for the first time are the Forerunners, previously mentioned but never-before-seen creators of the Halos and the Ark. Combining both technology and organic life they bring with them an entirely new arsenal of weapons that will sit alongside the classic Halo Battle Rifle.
Halo 4 characters:
Finally the trailer was able to expand further on the relationship between the Master Chief and Cortana, the ancient AI that he both protects and relies on for help.
While little is known about her, Cortana’s back story was touched on by Halo Reach and looks to be expanded upon by Halo 4 with the Artificial Intelligence having to face the prospect of mortality.
Halo 4 release date:
Microsoft have revealed that the Halo 4 release date is 6th November and will be exclusively available for Xbox 360 with both the standard version and a Limited Edition available.
If there is one thing that DJ Khaled is extremely good at, it is making the most simple of tasks seem like an epic event. In this video, DJ Khaled and the legendary Just Blaze hit the studio to work on his new “album,” Kiss The Ring. Check the method.
Anyone now a days who’s doing anything noteworthy tends to make videos of their exploits. And true to form, Drizzy Drake has created a video-log of his current Club Paradise tour adventures. Check the method below.
Amex has recently unveiled previously unseen footage of Jay Z performing his Black Album cut “Public Service Announcement (Interlude)” during his gig at Carnegie Hall back in February. This further serves to whet apetites for his upcoming interactive concert at next weeks SXSW and, of course, for the UK based readers his ever approaching Watch The Throne tour. It has also recently been announced that the superstar will be headlining BBC Radio 1′s Hackney weekend. Excited is an understatement.
Ferrari has recently released a new video with the F12 Berlinetta hitting the track, after the supercar was officially presented to the public at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show.
The newest supercar in Ferrari’s lineup, the F12 Berlinetta, 599 GTB’s successor is once again placed into the spotlights, and after the automaker showed us just a day before how the model came to life, this time the F12 Berlinetta is going around the track, proving its skills, its racing pedigree and revealing that wonderful engine sound.
The Ferrari F12 Berlinetta, which is the fastest ever road-going car made by the company, is powered by a 6.3 liter V12 engine, developing a total output of 730 horsepower and 509 lb-ft of torque, out of which 80 percent is available from only 2,500 rpm. Ferrari says that the F12 Berlinetta can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.1 seconds and from 0 to 200 km/h in 8.5 seconds, before hitting a top speed of 340 km/h.
According to the Italian based automaker, the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta is a result of the collaboration between Ferrari Styling Centre and Pininfarina. More details on the newest Ferrari supercar will be announced close to its launch.
Now, for all my car people, (Including Yum Yum), we all know that as impressive as the Nissan GT-R may be… it never stood a snowball’s chance in hell against a Veyron. That being said, I’m not sure if the folks who made this video honestly tried to see which was faster, but everything said and done, this just turns out to be a very impressive amateur commercial for the Bugatti.
The video has a very “Top Gear”-esque style to it which makes it more impressive than your average handy-cam street racing flick. Check the method below.
Snoop D-O-double-G and Wiz Khalifa have quite a bond, not only because they both have a “green thumb”, but they get along inside and out of the studio. Most people get to see the interviews and public interactions between these green genies, but recently Wiz and Snoop met up with Warren G, and the beginning of the session was all caught on tape. The production company Voyr teamed up with Kanye West to give the world an interesting view of things behind the curtain of the Watch The Throne Tour. I personally can’t get enough of Kanye West and his strong minded confidence (that most would consider being pure arrogance). But the man believes in himself so much that he has the ability to make his dreams a reality faster than even those around him though possible. Check out what he has to say in the behind the scenes look below.
The Victoria’s Secret fashion show came and went recently, but with quite a fuss this year. From what I heard via an inside source, all the models this year were “Plus Sized”. (I can’t even TYPE that without rolling my eyes) But by some technical definition, any runway model over a certain size (4 or 6 or some such foolishness) is considered “plus sized”. But while I was watching the show, all the arguing about this issue was going on until everyone stopped to watch Jay-Z and Kanye West perform their newest hit ‘N*ggas In Paris’ on the runway. The performance was quite entertaining (with Kanye in his leather chaps), as the models passed down the stage during the song. Check the video from the show below.
The ‘Watch The Throne’ tour officially kicked off recently in no place other that Atlanta Georgia. I managed to grab some amateur footage of the incredible show from a couple friends. Check the method below, and if there was any doubt in your mind about going to this show, I hope these video’s may change your mind.
The G-Unit name has been all over the world for years now, but some of the newer members of the Unit have not. In the video blog straight from 50, the ENTIRE G-Unit crew takes a trip to Vegas, and whiles out in what seems like one of the funnest company retreats imaginable. Check the method.
There’s no doubt that YMCMB has been doing it big for a few years. But when the entire group descended on Los Angeles, for the Video Music Awards, and Lil Wayne’s record release party, things got a little crazy. Check the method below.
This 4th of July, I’m headed a few hours north of wine country (Napa Valley, for those of you not familiar with NorCal) with a few buddies of mine to do it up in a lake house. While on the lake, we’ll be engaged in tons of water sports, so I decided to do a little bit of research. In my quest for knowledge, I came cross the video below about folks bored with wakeboarding in a lake behind a boat. They seem to have decided it was time to head down to thier swift-moving neighborhood creek, attach the same type of motorized, ariel tow lines they use in wakeskating, and wake upstream against the current. The footage is from last week’s 2011 Red Bull UpStream in Slovakia’s Bratislava, Cunovo. I’ve never heard of any of the winners of this bizarre, foreign water sport, but it looks quite, quite fun none the less.
Its no mystery that Hip Hop has spread all over the globe, but it seems that all caliber of musicians have been flocking to the UK for some of their biggest performances. Wiz Khalifa has now joined the ranks of professionals to blow up the stage in London, England. Check some live footage of his performance below. (If this video ceases to work, PLEASE comment and let me know so I can update it. YouTube has been somewhat flaky lately.)
Ricky Rossay in Concert at the ''I Am Still Music Show''
I put my footage of the “I Am Still Music” Tour on my twitter (@YoungStark) online, and I was very sad that I stopped one set of footage right at the most exciting part, as were my follwers. When E40 and Rick Ross were on stage and 40 performed “B*tch”, I cut the camera off to enjoy the performance, but luckily Rosay had his cameras on to catch what I missed. Check the method below.
(Shout out to my assistant Ashley F. as well as Kris, San, Brit, and Jenna for bein there at the same time.)
I know I’ve posted up a few times that my personal assistant and I are going to swing my the ‘I Am Still Music’ show when Lil Wayne comes to Oakland, CA., but I just want to explain to readers that this is the reason for the last month so much Lil Wayne content has gone up. (I had someone ask me about it in a bar the other night, so I figured I’d just clear it up right here.) But I’ve been trying to get a little heads up of exactly what his performance would look like before the actual show, and I got a glimpse of some of his set in ATL. Check the method below to see some live footage of Weezy F. Baby tearing down Atlanta.
After being signed to Maybach Music, Wale embarked on a small concert tour, and while in ATL, he hit a bit of a snag. Apparently the promoters weren’t doing a good job creating awareness for the show, (and anyone who does shows knows the last thing you want is a bad show when it’s not your fault.) So Wale did the smart thing and hit the streets. Check out the footage below.
It’s a shame I couldn’t be on the east coast for one of the biggest concert events of the new decade, but I was happy when I got to peep some live footage of the event, here were my two favorite clips. Check the method.
