Young Chilean artist Wladimir Inostroza or better known as FREDO has demonstrated incredible talent  by drawing these mind-blowing 3D pencil drawings. These perspective and depth of the effect in these sketches require patience and incredible talent to achieve. The young talented artist says that music is an integral part of his creative process, and his biggest inspiration comes from bands like Tool, Sigur Rós, and Explosions in the Sky.

Super Car Concept Designs.

Concept cars are basically a creative mind at work with no limitations.  You dont need to worry about how street legal it is or how much damage it will do to a person if you hit them doing 20mph… the answer is it does allot no matter how you design it you stupid regulations people.  Any how that’s the biggest short coming of a concept car.  What you see at the auto show wont ever make it to your drive way.  Yet it shows what we car capable of building and that a chevy impala may actually be the most boring car on earth.  Now that i offended the one Impala owner who visits this site we can safely move on.  Check out this wide range of properly awesome concept cars.   Brands include Bugatti, Ferrari, Tesla, Formula one, McLaren, BMW, and Mercedes Benz.

The Mideval Avengers.

It always pains me to find incredible art out there on the web, and not have the background information on the artist to give them their due.  Luckily, the housemate of the wildly talented illustrator that drew the photos above posted his deviant art link into the photo.

Fantasy Artwork At It’s Finest.

Fantasy art is the freedom for your imagination, if you looking for something different and unexpected in a artwork, always long with dragons, fairies, angels and demons. It’s great to see all these crazy things put together in such good concepts with great illumination and colors, check it out.

Kintaro, The Golden Boy: Artwork By Kuniyoshi.

Kintaro (a.k.a. “Golden Boy”), a popular child folk hero embodying strength and bravery, appears in statues, storybooks, anime, manga, noh, kabuki and candy. He was also the subject of numerous Edo-period woodblock prints.  Various legends say that Kintaro was raised by a Yamamba ogress in the mountains, where he learned to communicate with animals. As a youngster, Kintaro developed superhuman strength that enabled him to crush boulders, fight monsters and demons, uproot trees, and defeat bears at sumo.  The artist Kuniyoshi has an immense collection of prints centered around Kintaro.  Check the method.

Tea Young Choi’s Illustrations.

As time goes on I’m becoming a bigger and bigger fan of illustrated works.  Photography is no doubt a painstaking process where meticulous attention to to detail is needed, but with illustration, every detail in the end product comes for the illustrators head.  The entire world of the drawing is created mentally, and in Tea Young Choi’s illustrations, every single rivet, bubble, bolt, and chain link is visible in a way that brings reality to his work.  Check out some of his work below.

Hip Hop Portraits By Mark563.

Illustrated portfolios always seem to have some sort of mysticism about them that photo’s don’t always capture.  There’s just something special about someone taking their time to make sure every stroke of the pencil was correct, that every shade was correct, and every subtle nuance of a figure represented them correctly.  The illustrator known as “Mark563″ has done all this and then some.  Using some of the strongest names in Hip Hop as his subjects, he proves that both his illustration skills, and his knowledge of the legends of the genre are both impeccable.

Iain MacArthur’s Artwork.

Iain MacArthur’s particular style just screams intricacy and elegance.  The art seems to take the forms of birds and butterflies that are interlaced with detailed shapes, shades, and patterns.  Check out some more work below.  (I just wonder how long each piece takes.)

Andy Gilmore’s Geometric Paintings.

The artist Andy Gilmore has a passion for geometric shapes.  (He must have been the kid to copy off of in Geometry class).  His artworks take all different shapes… no pun intended, but they all seem to be equally amazing.  Check the method below.

Watch The Throne Illustrations.

The Watch The Throne album has been on a media rampage since it’s release, and with the nationwide tour now underway, things for Kanye and Jay-Z are looking amazing.  However, there are a few more things that look even more amazing.  The other night, I saw a collection of illustrations that were based off the ‘Watch The Throne’ playlist (unfortunately I couldn’t get any information on the actual illustrator, but if you know who he/she is, please let me know).  Each song has its own unique illustration that depicts the title of the song.  I’ll start you with a hint… the first picture is for ‘Otis’.  Lets see how well the ‘WTT’ fans can pick out the rest of the pictures.

The Oil Workings Of Alice Pasquini.

Alice Pasquini is an illustrator, set designer, painter but most of all, a visual artist, specialized in manual animation drawing for cinema and television at the ARS ANIMACIóN school.  She is able to reproduce the early XXth century animation system: a sequence of almost identical drawings, that take life through a speed movement. She lived and expressed herself in Spain for three years, in Madrid. Here she worked for ‘El Corte Inglés’, as set designer for ‘Cortylandia’, drawings children playgrounds in Spain and Portugal. Alice collaborated with the prestigious illustration, graphic and design review ‘Experimenta’. Now Alice is based in Rome and exhibits her art in several Italian galleries.

The Urban Stylings Of Tasso.

The urban art of the German graffitist Tasso is all incredibly detailed and life like.  I wish I had more to write about his background, but I don’t speak German, and my translator is at work elsewhere.  BUT, if your interested in more of his work you can take a look right here.

The Wonderful World Of Laura Laine.

Laura Laine is a Helsinki based illustrator.  She has studied fashion design at University of Art and Design Helsinki, but during her studies focused on fashion illustration.  After completing her studies she has been working full-time as a freelance illustrator and is also teaching fashion illustration at the university. Personally I think her work is magical.

What This World Holds.

Amazing artwork can be found all over the world.  And in this collection… beautiful artwork is found, all over… the.. world. (I’m sorry for the way I punctuated that, but I couldn’t find any other way to say it without sounding super cheesey.) Fernando Vicente is responsible for these amazing works of art inspired by the shapes he found in the Atlas.  Check the method.

Nick Gentry’s Use Of The Useless.

Nick Gentry is a British graduate of Central St Martins and has exhibited in the UK, USA and Europe. As part of a generation that grew up surrounded by floppy disks, VHS tapes, polaroids and cassettes, he is inspired by the sociological impact of a new internet culture.  His portraits use a combination of obsolete media formats, making a comment on waste culture, life cycles and identity. Using old disks as a canvas, these artefacts are combined to create photo-fits and identities that may draw connections to the personal information that is then forever locked down underneath the paint.

The Linkong Economic Park.

Conceived as a meandering ribbon-like form, the design of the park aims to bind the facility together with the surrounding community.  Pinched in its appearance, the smooth and complex structure creates a series of dynamic spaces that seem to reflect the vibration and energy of the city. Iconic and bold, the mixed-use ‘park’ stands out from the retail context of its neighboring plots, possessing a highly visible identity that when complete, will become a destination in its own right.  Defined by its calligraphic gesture and distinctive metallic envelope, the mixed-use building features four twisting and elongated  volumes, each representing a distinct cluster of activities. Intimate courtyards sit in the negative space between the intersecting wings, and together with the green roof, integrate nature into the dense urban environment. Curvilinear forms and expansive interior volumes continue throughout the internal spaces, where the architecture begins to dictate how the facility is used and experienced.

The Miscellaneous Artworks Of David Fuhrer.

David is a self taught freelance artist born 1985, in the capital of Switzerland, Bern. Grown up in the 90′s has influenced David’s work. He started experimenting with Visuals in the early days of the Computer.  With a focus on illustration, and an even tighter focus on intricate detailing David Fuhrer’s high scale Artworks are some of the most inspiring and exciting work to flourish from the community. His imagination in unity with his broad library of skills has allowed him to create some of the most out-of-this-world images.  Fuhrers work is a rare treat for the eyes and mind as the depth of his work is as mesmerizing as the feel that his pieces exude.

Loopy Dave Illustrations.

Simply put, Loopy Dave is the sh*t.  All his work is pretty rad, reminds me a lot of Serge Birault’s work (Dave even makes little homages to Serge in his work), and Dave’s work is absolutely full of detail, an that’s exactly what caught my attention. People, look out for hands, muscles, feet (man, the feet are just amazing), girl’s ribs (this one just amazing), fabric and lighting. That said, you may just go ahead and appreciate his work. Don’t forget to check out his portfolio for much more great pieces.

Children’s Drawings Re-Imagined.

Children have incredible imaginations.  By best friend’s daughter Kayla has said some the wildest thing ever in life, and some of the pictures she’s shown me from school are… bewildering.  Butwhat would a child’s drawing look like if it were painted realistically? The Monster Engine takes children’s drawings and paints them realistically.  This project is probably one of my favorite spins on art I’ve seen in a while.  Check the method below.

The Wonderful Watercolors of Karen Kurycki.

Different types of illustrations catch my eye on a consistent basis, but to date, I don’t think I’ve seen work as interesting as the pieces from Karen Kurycki. Her works are all witty and comical, and all the details, even the design of the type brings out the entire composition. You can see more from her here.

Chris Parks Illustrations.

Illustrators have always amazed me by being able to take something in their heads, and meticulously draw out every single facet of their vision in detail.  A while back, Chris Parks caught my eye with a Skate Board Totem, and after coming across more of his work again late last night, I wanted to post up more of his brilliant work.  Everything from the details, to the use of colors mesmerizes me every time I see one of Mr. Park’s pieces.  Check the method.

Mail From ‘Jainai’.

I came a cross an interesting series of pictures the other day by an illustrator that goes by the name Jainai.  Apparently she likes to put her personal touch on each of the envelopes she mails to clients. The envelopes are never the same and the subject matter is always randomly made up on the spot.  Every detailed sketch is an interesting piece with both simplicity and depth.  Jainai also has many more excellent works which can be seen at her deviantART.

Timba Smits Graphic Design Posters.

Timba Smits is an award winning Melbourne born / London based graphic designer, artist, illustrator, independent publisher, self confessed magazine addict and wannabe olympic ping-pong player.  He has a proper love of all things retro and kitsch.

Most commonly though, Timba is known for founding one of the world’s art communities best kept secrets a magazine called Wooden Toy Quarterly: the only quarterly half book half magazine, to come out once per year. Smits publication and the rest of his work aims to document and highlight emerging and established creatives that have in some way been influenced by contemporary culture.   Design and art that Timba creates can be, and are, an influence or inspiration to others.
