Raekwon shares his thoughts on the friction between Wu Tang group members before they dropped their last album “8 Diagrams,” revealing that personalities were just clashing, despite talent. Raekwon also details his new project “Lost Jewlry,” which is a compilation of past projects he’s resurrected and remastered, which features artists like Maino, Faith Evans, Freddie Gibbs and more.
It’s always interesting to see two worlds collide, but although Rob Dyrdek and his little cousin Drama might not seem to be the type to hang with Young Money, nothing could be farther than the truth. The majority of the YMCMB crew (excluding Drake, and J Mills) came down to the world famous Fantasy Factory in L.A. to kick it with Drama and friends to play ball, go kart, and just relax. Stickup Kiddz
I posted up on my Facebook recently that folks were throwing dope music my way yesterday, which was very true, but I happened to re-discover a little dope-ness on my own this morning. The Stickup Kiddz are a California based group that have way too much talent to be filed into a single type of hip hop. Aside from songs like Turf Banga, Stickup did one of my favorite tracks, entitled “Your Body”, which is essentially a gangsta love track, and the video is quality. The song and the video are by no means new, but Aris Jerome directed and filmed the video, and because I’m a good friends with Stickup Kiddz, its funny to see homeboys doing their thing in the background of almost every shot. So everyone who’s ever chilled and watched the HBO show Entourage with me, knows that when I want to be annoying, I can recite almost every word from any episode. (Yeah, its like that). So when I came across the new Need For Speed ads featuring Kevin Dillon and Jerry Ferrara, I was in awe. The ads feature the boys (Drama and Turtle) from Entourage, somewhat in character while being valets at a fancy hotel. The guys get to drive the worlds fastest cars at 5 MPH, and while never really saying each other’s names, if your a fan of the show, you can see their characters come out. Check the method.
