The Wrecking Orchestra’s Tron Dance.

tron_legacy_promo_image_disc_game_03There are many impressive dance groups out there, all deserving of recognition, but not too many videos have had as much impact as the ‘Tron Dance’ from The Wrecking Orchestra.  This video isn’t the newest, but I felt the need to throw it up simply because every time I run into it on the web, I just can’t help remember how excited I was the first time I saw it.  Check the method below.

The Academy Of Villains.

It’s not always likely that you’ll run into someone from a TV show on the street.  But when you’re environment is often populated by talented individuals, you might just run into someone unexpected.  The other day at work, I unknowingly met a member of the dance squad ‘Academy Of Villains’, who had recently blow away the judges on ‘America’s Got Talent’.  After watching another video of theirs for Disney’s ‘The Haunted Mansion’ I was fascinated by their skill and talent.  Check the method below.

The Best Robot Dance

‘The Robot’ has been around for almost 50 years, but some dancers just do it better than others.  Take a look at an incredible dancer doing a dance rendition of Wall-E.

The GREATEST Walmart Advertisement In History.

A while back, one of my best friends and I were driving around a shopping center, and I wanted to stop to grab a few things.  The only store open was Walmart, and oddly, she refused to step foot into Walmart.  After sever seconds of poking and prodding, I just let it go, and didn’t hassle her about going in, but it always made me wonder what certain people had against the store chain.  Last night that question was answered when a friend of mine showed me Mr. Ghetto’s video titled “Walmart” a.k.a. “Wally World”.  The video has cause a storm of controversy already, and is a viral nightmare all over the web.  Just be warned before you watch, it’s quite…. um… graphic.

How DJ Peter Rosenberg REALLY Feels About Nicki Minaj’s ‘Starships’.

Peter Rosenberg’s diss of Nicki Minaj’s “Starships” has been all over the news the last couple of weeks. Watch the video above where he makes fun of himself and the song to hopefully clear some of the tension.

Kate Upton Can Teach You How To Cat Daddy.

Just incase you weren’t sure how to do the “Cat Daddy” (a year ago) Ms. Kate Upton is here to teach. This dance is a bit dated, but I recommend watching it a couple times until you get the moves down.

100 Years Of Dance History In 100 Seconds.

Dance is something that people have used to express feelings and emotions for eons.  It’s my JOB to make people dance, and although I’m proud that I’m good at it, I can still admit that I don’t know all there is to know about the history of dance.  The video below goes through the last 100 years of popular dance in about 100 short seconds.  Check the method.

Unleash Your Fingers.

For the launch of the Galaxy SII in France, Samsung brought JayFunk, the internet Finger Tutting phenomenon, from Los Angeles to Paris to deliver an incredible and surprising choreography.  Check the method below.

Pop Locking vs Ballet Collaboration.

Spike Jonze arranged this collaboration of the world’s greatest cellist with unique hiphop dancer Lil Buck.  This is what Jonze wrote: “The other day, I was lucky enough to be at an event to bring the arts back into schools and got to see an amazing collaboration between Yo-Yo Ma and a young dancer in LA, Lil Buck. Someone who knows Yo-Yo Ma had seen Lil Buck on YouTube and put them together. The dancing is Lil Buck’s own creation and unlike anything I’ve seen. Hope you enjoy.” –Spike Jonze.

Behind The Scenes With Trina.

Recently, Trina and Mr. Collipark got together to put out the track “Red Bottoms”.  Personally, I feel like with Trina’s obvious absence from the rap game, a new release may have been met with some skepticism by many, but rest assured Red Bottoms seems to be quite the banger.  The behind the scenes video by Derrick G, and 305 Films shows a little of the thought process behind the video, and even some looks things like dancers rehearsals.  Aside from the back up dancers, (including the world famous, Chi Town based ‘Footwork Kings’) Trina herself engages in some pole dancing wearing a wild yellow outfit and of course her Red Bottoms.  Director Gil Green, seems to have put together what could possibly be quite the comeback record for Trina.  With all the different dancers, different styles of dance, and Trina’s… talents on screen, this video should be a memorable one.  Check the method below.

Ballet vs. Krump in 360 Degrees.

“The 360 Project” is an exploration into the crossroads of photography and motion pictures. It is a study of peak dance movements, captured simultaneously by 48 cameras aligned in a circle.  There are two components to “The 360 Project”… “Ballet 360” features ballerinas from Canada’s National Ballet School, “Krump 360” features dancers from Northbuck Krump. The two styles of dance represent polemic perspectives in both technique and origin.  One is beauty, the other beast.  The resulting images resemble a type of digital statue, a frozen, peak moment, embodying the essence of each dance form in 360 degrees.

The Sun Drop Commercial.

I have alot of exciting projects going on, revolving around women, including interviews with 2 British beauties, (Carmel Candy, and Jessica Castillo) and a photo series in May with a German hottie.   But the girl in the new ‘Sun Drop’ soda commercial is something else all together. First of all, this commercial should have for sure been a Superbowl ad, and features music from Snoop Dog, and narration from Fat Man Scoop. But more importantly the girl dancing in the commercial is such a G, you just have to respect it. She starts off rather unsuspectingly, opening a soda, (actually in the begining she almost sort of reminds me of a girl named Kari I had a crush on in college.)  But immediately after opening the soda, she uh… “drops it like its hott” and proceeds to dance her ass off for the duration of the commercial.  Check the method.

Dancin In The Rain…

I peeped this video the other day, and thought it was way too dope to go without posting it.  Check the Turf Fienz doing their thing on the streets of the bay.
