Worst 100 Pick-Up Lines of All Time

Young couple drinking wine and having fun

Working in a night club you hear some of the worst pick up lines ever. In a crushingly futile eight and a half minute cringe-fest which could have easily been renamed “100 surefire ways to get maced in the face by strangers you’ll definitely never have sex with”. 18 year old Brisbane comedian is completely incapable of feeling shame by trying his hand at some of the most ineffective pickup lines of all time to show you how its not to be done.

Louis C.K. vs Technology.

Consumer technology can evoke a mix of love and hatred in its users, making it ripe for comedy.  Take smartphones, for example. We may come to feel dependent on our pocket-sized gadgets, but we may also feel embarrassed about our dependency and grow to resent the devices, as if they are sentient beings bent on making us weak or incapable of functioning independently.  Hatred, is a strange emotion to feel towards a phone, a fact that is not lost on comedian Louis C.K., who calls out smartphone owners for being ungrateful for their “amazing” devices. “We have these phones that you can call in an airstrike. You can look at the top of your own head,” said the standup star during his 2011 Comedy Central special Hilarious. “We have this beautiful thing, and we hate it. I never saw a person going, ‘Look at what my phone can do!’ Nobody does that. They all go ‘This f—–g thing it sucks.’”

Obama Spits Hott Fire.

As hard as my team and I work on scouring the interwebs for new source material for this blog, I’ll be the first to admit that we can’t catch EVERYTHING.  Sometimes there are articles, skits, photos, and happenings that simple elude our eyes and ears, but luckily I have other sources that help out without knowing.  I came onto Facebook after spinning a beach party on Cinco De Mayo, and saw a post from my boy Rob Scott about President Obama’s original speech after catching Osama Bin Laden.  Click the pic to watch this hilarious video, and shout outs again to Rob Scott for putting this video on my radar

The ”EP” EP by Childish Gambino.

Childish Gambino

Yes you are reading that name correctly, it is not a stutter. Given that each one of these tracks are FIRE, the best one on the “EP” has to be “Freaks and Geeks.” I have to say though I’m really feeling the clap beat and verse on “Lights Turned On.” Donald Glover has AMAZING talent. They say “The sky is the limit,” but I don’t even think the sky can hold him back from reaching for the stars. Below are the downloads for each individual track and CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD the zip for the “EP.”  If your familiar with Donald Glover, you know he writes for ’30 Rock’, and is a stand up comedian.  But for those of you who aren’t familiar with his non-musical ventures… Check out some of his stand up below.

Three Sheets To The Wind.

Comedian Zane Lamprey hosts a humorous trip around the world, sampling the local well-known (and little-known) food and drink, while also engaging in local alcohol-related customs in a show titled ‘Three Sheets’.  (After the saying “Three sheets to the wind”.)  I’m not sure who he had to sleep with to get this gig, but being an alcohol connoisseur myself, I’d love to be able to go around the world and taste liquors in much the same fashion that fat people would love to be food critics.  In each episode, Lamprey samples various drinks and food in addition to learning about the customs and libations of that area, and then experiences the local hangover cure. The series is produced by Screaming Flea Productions, and will air on Spike TV starting Feb 28th.
