Miss Siray Kong.

Siray Kong is a stunning model, born in Thailand and raised in Minnesota. As a model, she has been in some of the hottest videos like YG ft 50 Cent & Snoop Dogg – Toot It & Boot It {Remix}, Black Ice ft Impirio & Cru – Take You High, Jillian Ann – Savior, DJ Ian Carey ft Snoop Dogg & Bobby Anthony – Last Night, X-Clusive – What You Lookin’ Like and Tyga – Make It Nasty, just to mention some of them.  Miss Kong also appeared in magazines like Urban Ink #Issue21 and on the Cover of Rukus Mag.  Her beauty and perfectly curvaceous 34-24-35 frame mixed with her Cambodian and Thai origins create an appeal lots of guys are astonished by.  But letting her tell you about herself is probably the best way to describe her:

My name is Siray Kong I was born in Thailand but was raised in Minnesota. I get asked all the time” why” Minnesota?, lol.  My mother and I were in the camps of Thailand, we were sponsored through a church in Minnesota. I am part Thai and Cambodian. I speak both language but I am more fluent in Cambodian and of course English as well.  I recently added a new chapter in my life and moved to California.  My passion is to share with the world my talents in modeling, acting, and singing.  I always wanted more out of life I knew that the hand that was dealt to me is not the one I had to keep so that means, I’m aiming for a full house.  My inspiration is my mother one day the world will hear her story through me.  As a child I always wanted to sing so I started my singing in church as well I was always acting in plays.  Modeling and acting came very natural to me because I’m naturally very emotional, it’s easy for me to tap into my feelings and express it through my eyes. No need for words your eyes say it all=).  In my down times I enjoy a good movie or just hanging out with friends and family catching up on stuff. I enjoy reading and drawing.  I have a lot of faith in what I am passionate about and the belief that I can have all that my heart desire as long if I work very hard. I have no fear in failure because it not even an option. I am dedicated in my dream one of my reason of leaving Minnesota I knew I needed to spread my wings and California was the place I needed to be also I loved it there every time I visited.  I’m a people person I love to chat, express and listen. I am really excited and grateful for my future.”

Anna Williams Portraits.

Anna Williams is a 17 year old self taught photographer from Atlanta, GA.  One look through her photo collection and it’s not hard to tell that she has a natural talent for capturing raw, imaginative, photography that captures whatever subject she’s shooting.  She says…

“I found my love for photography about a year ago, when I obtained my first camera. I hope to take this passion farther later in life.”

At the age of 17, there’s nowhere but her skill level to go but up, and I hope to be able to check out more of her work later on down the road.

Jessica Cadavid.

Jasmin Cadavid was born and raised in Miami. Extremely active, ambitious, and flexible, it’s no suprise that this post is among the largest I’ve posted up of any model.  Jessica absolutely loves anything to do with sports and fitness, traveling, luxury, animals and nature.  Her nationality is an exotic blend of Colombia and the Philippines, and with measurements of 34-25-36, she’s obviously a head turner.  She’s been featured in Smooth Girl Magazine, BlackMen Magazine, Lowrider Magazine, Rides Magazine, Mixed Magazine, and ICE Magazine to name a few.  As for music video’s, she’s worked with a gambit of different artists including Birdman, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne
Bow Wow, Red Cafe, Omarion, Pitbull, Cam’Ron and Vado.

Miss Diznee.

Diznee came into this world 20 years ago, born and raised on the beautiful coast of California in San Diego. She is a mix of African American, Russian and French Canadian. Growing up she was active in many sports such as volleyball, basketball, track, gymnastics, and cheer leading. A future in sports seemed to be calling her name until the world of modeling took flight.

After graduated from high school she moved to New York to attend college and cheer for the university. A trip back to Los Angeles, California would be the turning point of her modeling career. Diznee’s first SHOW Magazine debut was in the Black Lingerie Issue, August 2007. Ever since that magazine hit news stands across the nation she has built a fan base of men and woman young and old. The high cost of school in New York and rising level of opportunity in Los Angeles made me put away her cheer uniform forever and head to the “City of Angels.”

Ever since her move to LA she has been blessed with endless opportunities.  In June 2008 her first cover came out and she knew that was only the beginning. She now has her own website and has appeared in various music videos including Day 26 “Since You’ve Been Gone”, David Banner ft. Lil Wayne “Shawty Say”, and Colby Odonnis “Don’t Turn Back”.

Chanta Patton.

Chanta Patton is one hell of a Christmas present, born on December 25th, 1986 in North Carolina.   Ms. Patton grew up in Baltimore as a teen and as a step into the field, she won Baltimore’s Next Top Model.  An impressive modeling resume may set certain people apart from the crowd, but Chanta also attended Coppin State University earning a degree in Applied Mathematics.  Although Chanta has been getting herself quite noticed in the urban scene, she intends to make the jump into features very soon, and has already been featured in videos with Nelly, Kardinal Official, Akon, Snoop Dogg, Too Short, Ludacris, Lil Wayne, T Pain, Young Jeezy and Usher.  Take a look at more of her pictures below.

Deziree Ramirez.

Deziree Ramirez was born in Texas, and is known as a model, actress, and radio personality. After graduating from Amarillo High in 2000, Ramirez moved to New York City and worked as an intern for Cache, (her grandfather’s company). During the summer of 2000, Ramirez went to a fashion show in New York City and was scouted by a Ford Model representative. She soon signed on with the agency and focused her modeling in fashion. She walked the runway in Milan, Tokyo, Paris and New York City. Clothing companies soon were calling Deziree to be the face of their brand. In November 2002 she appeared as the featured model in Playboy magazine. At this stage in her modelling career, she had decided to leave New York behind and head to Los Angeles to further pursue her career ambitions. Since then she has appeared in Playboy, Maxim, FHM, H Para Hombres. She is also the co-founder of Fannatic magazine, and is the woman behind Undezcovered by Deziree an upscale clothing line, Casa De Colores Resort Hotel, A Resort Hotel & Spa located in Cancun, Mexico. She is also the voice as a radio personality star on her weekly radio show A Night of Fantasy.

DJ Storm’s Interview With Sarah Jane Swag.

Models come in all different styles, shapes, sizes, and heights, but what really makes a model stand out is her ability to personify any character, embody any fashion, or portray any emotion.   I personally don’t think I’ve seen anyone do this in such a wide variety of ways as Sarah J. Swag, and her massive portfolio confirms my suspicions.  Luckily for me, not only is Ms. Swag close to my team professionally, she also happens to be a friend for years.  So catching up with her for an interview was as effortless as her taking an amazing picture.

DJ Storm: So, although you’ve been in San Francisco for the last few years, do you think growing up in Texas influences your modeling decisions?

Sarah Jane Swag: In Texas there is a lot of big hair and a lot of beauty contest. It is also very competitive of how you look when you are around town or just going out. Being around that for so long made me want to look good and always have my hair and make-up done. Then when I went to Sweeden I learned they are all about the street fashion and the latest fashion. I really liked that and picked up on keeping tabs on the latest trends. One of my favorite influences as a child was the 90′s hip hop videos that were on t.v., I could not get enough of them.

DJS: So you said that you watched a lot of 90′s Hip Hop videos, who did you listen to back in the days, and what were some of your favorite videos?

SJS: So considering that I was a little girl when listening and watching these videos, I was inspired by Jay Lo, Ashanti, Alia, Beyoncé and Destiny’s Child… I was really into watching MTV back then. Also I was really into their fashion and their attitude. With the 90s videos and MTV I found that I could relate to them cuz I wanted to look pretty and be feminine the way that they were.

DJS: Do you think absorbing that style has influenced the way you style yourself in photo shoots now?

SJS: I didn’t mimic there clothing styles but unless I did a throw back shoot I could. It was more of there presents of there being feminine and bringing it to the table. It was more about their attitude and how they presented themselves.

DJS: So out of all the photographers you’ve worked with in the last 2 years, what concepts are the most memorable to you.

SJS: Well I don’t wanna pick favs but thankfully it has always been a diverse experience for me.. I’d have to say the most memorable photo shoot was when I had to pose like I was in a Versace ad. I was fully clothed and classy looking while my prop was a live nude male model. It was a different approach to any shoot I had been in especially since there were people watching as I sat on a naked man. There was also a time where I was body painted to look like Harley from Batman and I had to become her character. Those were the ones at major extremes that really stuck out to me but every photo shoot has been a great experience for me and I appreciate working with each and every photographer.

DJS: Do you have any concepts in the future that you would be excited about taking on, or any future shoots planned that we should be looking out for.

SJS: So I really am excited to be working on a collaborated shoot with Arie Rose. I have never been in a shoot with her but I have worked with her before and it was a great experience. We plan on working with multiple photographers at once as we do the shoot together, this shoot should be very exciting for everyone involved. Also I am going to Europe this summer and plan to do some networking over there with some European photographers.

DJS: So you spoke about going to Europe a lot in your youth, how often did you go, and what did you do over there

SJS: I’ve been there every summer since I was 3 until I was 18 and then I moved to SF. I have been back once or twice since then but only for a short amount of time. My family will be there this summer and it is my first time back in 2 years. I am really excited cause my family is going to take me around and I can value what I see there this time, where as in the past as a child I took it granted the places where my family took me or I just wanted to stay in the car or back home. Now I can enjoy it as an adult and indulge in the European life.

DJS: So what are your future plans in terms of your career, and what are some of your goals for modeling?

SJS: So recently I am starting to get into the music video realm. Like I have mentioned before as a child I watched a lot of 90s hip hop videos that were on t.v. and that is was what inspired me to become a model. Both of my parents are musicians and that was also another huge influence upon me to go in the music direction. While photography has been great to me, in the long run being in the videos is what I would like to do. I may start as a video assistant. But I could also see myself being in videos where I act, move, and dance. I feel that in the future this would be a great expansion for me to work towards. I have been blessed to be able to work with so many photographers already and if it can continue I’d be more and happy and see what comes my way and for networking and connections. This is something that makes me happy and if I can continue to keep doing modeling that would be great. Later on in life I want to set an example that other models can look up to and let everyone know that they can make a difference. I plan on taking what ever comes my way and so far I like the direction that I am going.

This girl ask me the other day, “How do you model if you are not 6ft tall or curvy or super skinny?”.  I told her to be unique. I’m unique in my own way and I express it. I also told her that another key factor to being a model is to be comfortable in your body weather your male for female. Photography has made me happy and it makes me feel good. Over the years it has made me comfortable with who I am and I hope to pass that message along to anyone else who is modeling or not. Do what makes you happy even if you don’t fit what people think are the standards for modeling. You don’t have to more your life style and yourself to what you think people want to see. Be yourself, be unique.

Marina Victoria.

Normally when it comes to models, my team and I find scattered pieces of information around the net and compile them for a post, then sprinkle it with some of our personal opinions. But in the case of the gorgeous Marina Victoria, her bio reads like a book. In respects to whoever wrote it, I couldn’t break it up, so you can take a read after her pictures below.

On April 26, 1987 at 10: 30 am, her first smile was seen as she entered the world in a small town called Evpatoria, Ukraine. “Marina!” her mother would call into the neighborhood playground from her kitchen window. They lived in a poor building where 5 – 7 different families would share the same bathroom and kitchen. Growing up was not easy especially with her dad abandoning them, leaving her mom Juliya with two children to raise and no job or any sort of income. Growing up, she was a tom boy. She used to always get into fights, climb fences and trees, and almost blew up the neighborhood when her and her friend decided to make a bond fire beside a gas tank. Of course she will never forget the beating she got from an old lady and her grandmother who caught them. Although Marina always tried to live her life to the fullest and stay positive, she knew that she was meant to be more.

At the age of 7, her mother Juliya and the daughters were on the line of being homeless. Juliya borrowed money for an airplane ticket to go to Canada to work and bring back money to survive, while leaving her two daughters with their ill grandmother. When Juliya arrived to Canada, she was standing at the airport with five dollars in her pocket, no English or relatives to turn to. As she started praying to god she heard “Excuse me, would you be kind enough to help me with my luggage?” an old lady asked . They got to talking, and Juliya ended up staying with the old lady while taking care of her grandkids and cleaning houses on the side.

After two and a half long years, Marina and her mom were finally reunited when she arrived to Canada at the age of 9. Juliya was still cleaning houses and going to college while Marina went to elementary school. It was not easy for Marina to get used to this lifestyle. She did not have any friends and did not speak English at all. After a few months of being in Canada, Marina gained a lot of weight due to different environment and food. She was always made fun of at school, which made it harder for her to accept and live her new life in Canada. The summer before high school, Marina went back to her hometown for the summer, where she swam everyday with her old family and friends and ate healthy like she used.

When she came back, she lost all the extra weight, her skin was silky tanned, and body toned. Her life changed dramatically. She went to a new school, met a lot of new friends. Her mom and her friends always told her she should get into modeling, but being a young teenager and previous self esteem issues, she never took it seriously. She decided to pursue her passion for dancing instead. She started to take dance lessons at the age of 14, and at the age of 17 she was in a famous dance group called School of Mayhem. Unfortunately hard times hit and she had to stop dancing, quit school, and took on three jobs to help out with bills at home and take care of her family financially in Ukraine.

Later, she decided to take her first modeling gig, and was a feature on a well known Canadian retail clothing website. She then took on more challenging offers that allowed her to display her background in dance with projects that gave her lead roles in music videos.

What was supposed to be just a hobby, has taken Marina to places she could not have imagined in her wildest dreams, from winning the number one spot in the SCN Bikini contest 2006, to fashion shows, to music videos and Magazine features, Marina is recognized by more people everyday for her unique Korean/Russian look and her outstanding personality. She is currently the spokes model for ProjectBounce Inc. which is one of the largest companies in Canada for urban media. MV’s journey has only just begun…

Check out the official video for Eva Simons’ new single “I Don’t Like You”. This track has recently started getting a lot of airplay, so make sure to download it where you can… DJ’s put in your sets.

Carmireli Trani.

Miss Carmireli Trani is a 34-24-37 beauty born in Puerto Rico.  This gorgeous triple threat is a model actress, and singer. She’s been singing and acting since she was 12.  It’s no secret I have a deep affection for tattoos, I noted Carmireli has 2 on her hips and a huge one from her lower belly to under her right arm. Check some more of her pictures below, and feel free to check her out on twitter @Carmireli88.

The String Theory.

I never took to knitting.  One reason may be that it is accepted that you will have to rip out rows at some point in the process.  This alone drives me up a tree.  I never let perfection be the enemy of the good and knitting just doesn’t work that way.  I’d never have made it on the prairie.  Mexican artist Gabriel Dawe spins a yarn with these exciting sculptures.  Beautiful and precise. Homeboy’s just got a gift.

Anaya Hayes.

Dedicated, passionate and driven, Anaya Hayes says she always knew she would grow to be a star when she sang her first note at the impressionable age of 6.  Anaya was born into a culturally rich Egyptian/Nubian household in the diverse city of Toronto.  She caught the “stage bug” at age 7 and complimented her passion for singing by becoming an accomplished jazz and ballet dancer before the age of 10.   In her teens, Anaya took an opportunity that was presented to her and began modeling. Too short for the runway, this bilingual beauty graced numerous ad campaigns, fashion spreads and music videos.  Ms. Hayes was able to use her fame to create the character and personality “Anaya Hayes: Celebrity Event Host” and began coordinating and hosting some of the biggest parties in cities like Toronto, Miami and New York.  Always committed to broadening her horizons, Anaya also studied Geriatric Social Work and Event Coordination and later became a monthly magazine columnist. (All by the age of 21.)  You can find her in music videos like Drake & Trey Songz’ hit single “Replacement Girl”.

Shay U.K.

Shay U.K. has enormous…. potential, huge… work ethic, and a large… portfolio, so instead of writing my own piece on this one of a kind 30JJ- 26- 37,  5’8 beauty, I’ll let her tell her own story.

I was born in Kenya and I’m the youngest of 6 kids, I moved to the UK, London when I was two years old with my family. I come from a very cultured background and we were always taught to never forget where we came from so I do speak more than one language, hearing me speak you’ll find that I don’t have the ‘typical’ British accent. I’m a mix of Kenyan, Italian, Arabian and Portuguese. I grew up being a tom boy, the person that who was always one of the firsts to get chosen for a team. I’m very good at sports and I do believe that deep down I still am :-) My first appearance on TV was for my art work! I was on Blue Peter, a kids programme here in the UK. I have always been good at art and using my vision as well as imagination very well.

I always did get good grades at school, but I wasn’t perfect. I messed around but I knew my education is part of my priorities and I can not forget that. I guess I was one of the trouble makers in class, most of my friends were guys, I’ve always been one of the popular people. When I hit highschool, things changed. I guess ‘puberty’ kicked in, I didn’t really like my body. My boobs grew and I was chubby (fat), I was a fat kid/teen, I was a size 36 DD when I was only 13 years old. People always used to take advantage out of me in school because I was too nice and humble but they knew that once I turn the other page it’s a complete different me. I have kept friends from when I was really young and I do believe I’m a very honest, humble, trustworthy, kind, hardworking and a go getter.

I started dancing when I was 16 years old, joined dance schools and even took Dance as a course in school. One day after my dance session at Pineapple Studios, I was approached by Luire Magazine. I was suprised because I never thought that I had ‘model’ potential, Luire Magazine is a Japanese fashion magazine and they snapped me for London Fashion Week. I was so excited, I remember the feeling. After the shoot, I guess love came into my life and I’ve been inlove since but there was a problem and that problem was MY WEIGHT. I noticed I was starting to lose weight and the weight I was losing was my body but NOT breasts. I knew that I weren’t a plus size model anymore. I left modelling for a bit. When I turned 18, I began a myspace page and added my pictures etc…

The internet is a CRAZY place! You’d be suprised what you can do by just using the internet. I got approached by a whole lot of people on the internet and had my first proper photoshoot as Shay The UK Bombshell. I got the name UK Bombshell because a lot of people started called me that on myspace and I thought “Hey let me not just stick to my name.” When Shay The UK Bombshell came out I think that’s when life really began for me… The love was always there.

I made a lot of connections through the internet especially being from an ethnic background and living in the UK it’s harder because there are MUCH MUCH more opportunities in the USA for women of an ethnic background. Since my first glamour photoshoot, I have carried on having numerous photoshoots, became Jumpoff’s MISS JUNE and appeared on the CD cover, published in magazines such as Juice Magazine, ZOO magazine etc… I did my first music video in 2009 which was for a UK artist.

The FIRST UK model to be featured as KING Web Girl of the week, featured on Soulja Boy’s website http://www.sodmgmodels.com and I’m the FIRST coloured skin from the UK.

I plan on making my way to the USA soon. I don’t intend to always do modelling, I believe that looks fade away but when you have a brain and know how to use it IT WILL GET YOU VERY FAR, your brain doesn’t age you just start knowing things better. I see “Shay” as a brand, hopefully be able to have my own merchandise, become an actress etc… Business orientated.

Tea Young Choi’s Illustrations.

As time goes on I’m becoming a bigger and bigger fan of illustrated works.  Photography is no doubt a painstaking process where meticulous attention to to detail is needed, but with illustration, every detail in the end product comes for the illustrators head.  The entire world of the drawing is created mentally, and in Tea Young Choi’s illustrations, every single rivet, bubble, bolt, and chain link is visible in a way that brings reality to his work.  Check out some of his work below.

Kristy Mitchell’s Wonderland.

Kirsty Mitchell is a fashion photographer from Kent, England. The beautiful vast of lavender hues draw you in with her overwhelming concepts labeled ‘Wonderland’.  The vibrant colors, the intricacies of every foreground and background, the costumes and the concept all make ‘Wonderland’ an immensely intriguing body of work.  Check the method below.

Looper.

Sci-Fi films with monstrous budgets are a dime a dozen now a days, but seem to lack whatever quality it is that captivates moviegoers. Flicks like John Carter or Wrath Of The Titans all seemed good in theory, and for the amount of money they cost, should have been great, but failed to deliver to audiences. It takes a unique, interesting, and well delivered story to make a science fiction movie stand above the rest now a days, and Rian Johnson’s “Looper” smells like it has all the right ingredients. Starring Jason Gordon Levitt, and Bruce Willis, the move seems like a welcomed departure from the generic movie scripts that are coming to the screen this year. Aside from ‘The Avengers’ and ‘The Dark Knight Rises’, ‘Looper’ is one of the films I’m looking forward to the most this year. Check the official synopsis below, and look out for a trailer coming in the next week or so.

Time travel will be invented, but it will be illegal and only available on the black market. When the mob wants to get rid of someone, they send their target 30 years into the past, where a “looper”—a hired gun, like Joe (Joseph Gordon-Levitt)—is waiting to mop up. Joe is getting rich and life is good. . . until the day the mob decides to “close the loop,” sending back Joe’s future self (Bruce Willis) for assassination. The film is written and directed by Rian Johnson and also stars Emily Blunt, Paul Dano, and Jeff Daniels. Ram Bergman and James D. Stern produce.

The Lovely Honey Dawn.

The lovely model displayed in this post goes by the names of Honey Dawn. A go-go dancer in Hollywood, she’s appeared in videos with Keri Hilson, Rick Ross, Quincy Jones, Ludacris, Nicki Minaj, Ray J, The Cateracts, The Game, New Boys, Pitbull, Pharell, and 3 6 Mafia (among others).  That’s quite the large resume for a woman with the impressive measurements of 32-24-26.  Honey has also been featured in Model-Rukus magazine, Synthetikx, and SuperStreet Magazine.  She also works at a bikini store part time, and attends LACC in hopes to transfer to FIDM. This Mexican, White and Filipina star has also dabbled in acting, being a featured extra in the motion picture ”Green Hat” from director Todd Phillips.

Miss Jessica Skyy.

I took a slight hiatus from putting certian styles of models up on the blog, but after taking a look at Jessica Skyy’s photographs, I had to put an end to the break.  This 5 foot, 3 Hispanic beauty has built an astonishing body of work.  She was on the novel cover for 50 Cent’s “Heavens Fury”, has been featured on Lowrider Girls magazine cover girl (May 2008), been seen on SHOW magazine, MOB Candy magazine, IB Concept Magazine, the NUVO 2009 calendar, and was in the movie Notorious.  Aside from her body… of work, she measures 36 D, 25, 36 and takes some of the most captivating images of any model of her type.  Check the method.

Toni Burnett & Danielle Lo.

At a certain age, boys start to do things like sneak peeks at lingerie catalogs, and hunt down old playboy magazines just to get a glimpse of women in a way they’ve never seen before.  This child-like fascination goes away with time, (and experience) but I’ve found two models who seem to have brought it back for me.  The first, Toni Burnett (above), is of Guynese heritage and currently resides in the Washington D.C. area.  Although her work is simply stunning, and she seems to capture the camera in a way that not many models can, her true strength comes from her business savvy.  Being a strong woman of color definitely ads to the repertoire that makes Ms. Burnett fascinating and unique.  Hailing from an entirely different set of regions is Ms. Danielle Lo (below).  German, Irish, English, Chinese, and Austrian is quite a potent mix for such a diversified model.  Danielle has been modeling for over 6 years, and has traveled to more places than a Geography teacher can point out on a map.  Her photos always reflect an uncanny knowledge, and total love of what she does.  Ms. Lo’s winning personality and love of just making the people around her happy, reinforce her own personal motto:  “Looks may draw a person in, but it’s your wit and charm that will keep them around”

Art can be a beautiful thing, no matter what the premise.  There’s no doubt in my mind that DJ’ing is an art form, and some of the sounds that it creates are nothing short of beautiful.  Luckily for us, if the person creating that art is beautiful as well, its not a bad thing.  No one really cared what Picasso looked like, just that his work was unique.  People weren’t lining up around the corner to take a picture with Edvard Munch, we just know his famous painting “The Scream”.  And lets be honest… Frida was not the baddest b*tch on the block.  But in this day in age, male fans are blessed to have some very attractive, and very talented artists to listen to.  Below is a list of potentially the top 10 sexiest female Disk Jockeys on Earth, and before I get a flock of emails telling me that ‘such-and-such‘ does look as good as ‘whats-her-face‘ let me just remind you that as a DJ myself, talent is sexy.  So listen to some of the work before you judge the looks.
