The band b.FUNK has been pumping out custom made hits for quite some time now, but their newest release “FUNK So Hard” is a whole different animal. A mix between a cover song and a remix, b.FUNK took “Niggas In Paris” and sprinkled it with an entirely new assortment of instruments, lyrics by B.C., and an incredible new energy. Every time I throw up a post about b.FUNK, I get at least 2 or 3 emails with people saying that I rep their movement because the members are from my hometown. For the last time, this simply isn’t true, even if I didn’t know some members since I was a pre-teen, graduate from the same high school, rehearse, and rock shows in the Poconos with bFunk, I’d still endorse their music just as hard. The band has an incredibly unique sound, covered by B.C.’s signature flow, which makes every song a memorable one. Their latest video “Check Yo Mind” has an original, yet familiar feel to it, and adds a good visualization to an already great song.
The recording artist known as B.C. has been pumping out musical mastery for years now. But with the advent of the band b.FUNK, the tunes coming out of New Jersey have been much more melodic and mellifluous than they have been in years. b.FUNK performed in Union, NJ’s Soundwaves Academy with the full band, including bongo’s and a saxophone, and tore the stage down.
