How Do You Spray-Paint Light?

French designer Aissa Logerot has developed ‘halo’ an LED light spray.  Instead of spraying paint it has an LED that sprays light. not only can the LED’s brightness be altered, but the colors are interchangeable.  If the light doesn’t have enough battery, users simply have to shake it to have energy again.  It’s one of the sickest photography tools I’ve seen in quite some time.

Dr. Dre and Swizz Beatz at Colony Nightclub.

Recently I got a listen of Dr. Dre’s newest single “Chillin” off his much anticipated ‘Detox’ album, produced by Swizz Beatz, and I was quite impressed.  Its a departure from the regular impression of what you think a Dre track would sound like, but I got an entirely new respect for it when I saw the crowd response at Colony Nightclub.  Check the video below.

Lil Wayne ft. Rick Ross – If I Die Today.

Everyone who’s a Wayne fan, has had their ears to the ground for new releases from “The best rapper alive”, and with the release of ‘If I Die Today’ they shouldn’t be disappointed.  The track seems to bond closely to the current style of singles that Rick Ross has been releasing recently (which is why it should come as no surprise that he’s featured on the track.)  Click the pic to take a listen.

Kalia Williams vs. Nina Roxanne (Battle: Hawaii)

Many of the posts on this blog have come to fruition because of conversations or arguments I have with my friends, and this one is no different.  A homegirl of mine in Walnut Creek, CA, made a statement about Hawaiian girls being over rated, and I was a bit taken aback.  I’ve dated a Hawaiian girl or two in my yesteryears, and I wanted to prove my friend wrong, so I dug up two of the hottest Hawaiian models I could find in 5 minutes.  Both Kailia Williams and Nina Roxanne are incredibly gorgeous natives of the 50th state, and I’d love to get your opinion of who you think is hotter.

Kaila Williams

The 25 years old model Kalia Willams, is originally from a small town called Haleiwa located on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. Though She is from Hawaii, she’s of mixed backgrounds, (black and white).  She even has a twin sister.  Kalia left the islands to see what the rest of the world was up to, and landed in San Francisco where her and her twins’s father’s side of the family is from.  Afterwards it was off to Toronto where they both worked with a lingerie company (modeling) for about a year, then finally landing in Los Angeles.  Kalia has made So. Cal her home for a number of reasons.  Most recently, she’s put her mind toward perusing a career in event coordinating and wedding planning alongside modeling.

Nina Roxanne

Nina Roxanne is a 24 year old established model more in the “Import” scene, but she wants to widen her portfolio to other horizons as well.  She’s a splendid mix of Filipina, German, Irish and French.   Nina grew up in Honolulu Hawaii where she started her modeling career with Island girl calendars and gogo dancing for major events and club nights, which led her to dancing all over the US and Canada.  Nina now has since moved to California from Honolulu. Nina has also appreared as one of the girl’s in TI’s “Why You Wanna” and key figure in the Making of the video on MTV.

Aston Martin x Mobiado Cell Phone.

Aston Martins and luxury phones are two of my favorite pointless obsessions in life.  The British luxury car brand Aston Martin and the luxury mobile phone manufacturer Mobiado are collaborating to produce a collection of luxury mobile handsets…  Enough said.  The merging of two of my favorite ridiculous obsessions will keep a smile on my face for the rest of the year.  Synergy between the two brands provides an ideal opportunity for Aston Martin to enter into the electronics sector, with an exclusive range planned to launch in May 2011 through a range of premium outlets.  Peter Bonac, President of Bonac Innovation Corp. said, “Like Aston Martin, Mobiado prides itself on design innovation and technological excellence.  We look forward to a long and prosperous working relationship, and are thrilled to be working with the prestigious Aston Martin brand.”

Your Body.

Stickup Kiddz

I posted up on my Facebook recently that folks were throwing dope music my way yesterday, which was very true, but I happened to re-discover a little dope-ness on my own this morning.  The Stickup Kiddz are a California based group that have way too much talent to be filed into a single type of hip hop.  Aside from songs like Turf Banga, Stickup did one of my favorite tracks, entitled “Your Body”, which is essentially a gangsta love track, and the video is quality.  The song and the video are by no means new, but Aris Jerome directed and filmed the video, and because I’m a good friends with Stickup Kiddz, its funny to see homeboys doing their thing in the background of almost every shot.  But check the method below.

TAG Heuer\Gulf Cell Phone.

The TAG Heuer Gulf Meridiist is the brand’s latest luxury cell phone that is inspired by Michael Delaney, Steve McQueen’s character in the 1971 film “Le Mans”.  His character, Michael Delaney, drove for the Gulf team; he got behind the wheel of a speed machine that featured the iconic Gulf light blue and orange racing livery.  He also wore the original Heuer Monaco Chronograph on his wrist, and thus the legend was born.  The TAG Heuer’s Gulf Meridiist a limited edition mobile handset series of only 400 pieces, which has been splashed with Gulf’s famous corporate racing colours.

It features a soft touch black body finish, applied by a high”technology PVD surface treatment that is nearly impossible to scratch.  The rear battery cover is black rubber, lined with two stripes each in the signature Gulf colours of orange and light blue.  The classic Gulf logo is above the rear camera shutter, while the TAG Heuer logo, in signature orange, marks the bar below the front crystal sapphire screen as well as on the chiselled side keys.
