A Sexy ‘Superbad’ Table Reading.
If you thought Michael Cera was awkward in movies, wait till you see him at a cheap table in a bare trailer in the Valley. We’ve got this clip from the original Superbad table read. And if you don’t know already, table reads are meeting where the actors read their lines from the script as some second assistant director gives a flat reading of all of the action. This 2nd AD can’t make “porno sexy” sound appealing, the original script seems to be dirtier than what made the movie, and there’s nothing like seeing Michael Cera squirm so much it makes Emma Stone squirm for him.
