Nike LeBron 9 “Christmas” Editions.
Designed with colorful elements that evoke the yuletide spirit, the Nike LeBron 9 is back yet again for a festive installment. Featuring a predominately red exterior matched with green accents, they seem to dazzle in their shape much like St. Nick’s trusty sleigh does. While a release date and confirmation on places to purchase these sneakers are still being gathered, the price does indicate that it will take $170 USD to put these under your tree.
Bugatti Veyron Super Sport Merveilleux.
Bugatti has unveiled the Super Sport Edition Merveilleux. The one-off model is apparently a birthday present for a mysterious Chinese man named Simon. This special Super Sport model is distinguished by an unpainted carbon fiber body, blacked-out alloys and brightwork, and a bright blue interior. The Edition Merveilleux is unveiled in a special video (below) wishing the owner of the latest one-off Bugatti a happy birthday. The Super Sport has a quad turbocharged sixteen-cylinder engine with 1,200 PS (882 kW / 1184 hp) and 1,500 Nm (1,106 lb-ft) of torque. The Bugatti Veyron Super Sport currently holds the Guinness record for the world’s fastest production with an official top speed of 430 km/h (268 mph).

The Life Sized Pin Toy.
Bag designer Lulu Guinness created this human-sized pin toy as part of Clerkenwell Design Week in the UK and placed the interactive sculpture for passers-by to have fun with. Passers-by were encouraged to step up to the screen and press their bodies against the pins to set an image of themselves. Inevitably, many cheeky ideas, like the one above, were floated.

After spending decades collecting dust the work of an unlikely artist has finally been uncovered. To the outside world Vivian Maier was just a nanny and housekeeper working in Chicago. But she also had a hidden talent was not recognised until after her death in 2009. Maier spent her life wandering the streets of Chicago with a Rolleflex camera strapped to her neck taking remarkable black and white pictures of a different side of the city, and a different side of life in America. Now some 100,000 pictures have been unearthed by John Maloof a real estate agent who bought the negatives as part of a storage locker at a Chicago auction house.

A two-floor, $28 million penthouse in my new hometown of San Francisco has made history as the most expensive condo sold in the city’s history. The 20,000-square-foot condo features floor-to-ceiling glass windows, six bedrooms, seven full baths, four powder rooms; 2,500 square foot master suite, thirteen-seat home cinema and four terraces, four fireplaces and six car parking. The penthouse was originally asking $70 million in 2008 by Victor MacFarlane, a real-estate developer who bought three apartment shells and combined them.

In Mumbai there is a custom of putting wall tiles of gods from different religions along street facades that most would deem “strange”. Office Supplies Art Installations.
I enjoy the show the Office, and everyone needs supplies, plus I’m an art lover, so when I saw this display of ‘office supply art’ I was triply thrilled. Built in the Lower East Side Bridgegallery, CHROMAtex.me was constructed of 4,416 panels of high gloss photo paper. Each panel is a specific color and geometry to fit its unique placement within the larger form. The entire structure was held together with 17,000 standard office supply binder clips. I know before they even read this, all the males said “he’s got to be joking with these censored photos.”, so let me explain. About a week ago, I came across a source who dropped a couple photos on one of my hard drives and told me that they were the leaked pictures from February’s upcoming Playboy Magazine issue. The spread is supposed to be a recreation of the ever famous Marilyn Monroe Playboy spread of yesteryear. Oddly enough they chose Lindsay Lohan as the one to bring back this priceless collection of photos, and weather or not you think she was up to task is all a matter of personal opinion. When putting these photos up, I was reminded that my sponsors (the people who pay this blog’s bills) tend to go ape-sh*t when there’s too much nudity on the front page. The Official ‘Dark Knight Rises Trailer’.
As an avid movie-goer, I have to admit that I participated quite a bit in the madness of this opening weekend. With ‘Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows’, and ‘Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol’ both being released with different tastes of ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ before each, tons of people were out trying to soak up a sneak peek. Luckily for anyone who didn’t pay $11.50 to see Sherlock just for Bruce Wayne, or those who held off paying $18.50 to see a 6 minute look at Bane… some DKR stuff just popped up on iTunes. The second trailer was released earlier today, and when my phone blew up with emails about it, I knew I had to share.

I’m an avid fan of cooking, I love the concept of mixing and matching ingredients and tastes, and coming up with something that no one else can reproduce. That might sound a little weird coming from a male Disk Jockey… however, in the words of Drizzy Drake “but the b*tches love it”. 50 Cent – ‘Off and On’ Official Video.
A little while ago, I put up a post about 50 Cent’s “The Big 10″ mixtape, for which he’d be shooting a music video for every song. ‘Off and On’ is the first video to drop from the mixtape, directed by Jackson Smith which features some pretty tight body paint. Check the method.
The City Limits.
Different video styles have a unique way of reflecting different concepts both visually and mentally. One of the most beautiful ways to demonstrate the passing of time, is with a tool called a time lapse. I came across a clip by Dominic Boudreault, who used the time lapse to demonstrate a duality between the city and nature. Regardless of the original intent, the video is downright beautiful, and capture city sights beautifully.

Rob Dyrdek Kickflips A Car.
Following GM’s publicity stunt, which dropped a 2012 Chevy Sonic out of a plane, MTV-reality and action sports-star Rob Dyrdek recently performed a kick flip in the Chevy Sonic. For those of us that didn’t grow up riding skateboards, a kick flip is a 360-degree rotation in mid-air. “A kick flip with a Chevy Sonic was a no-brainer,” said Dyrdek. “I am a Chevy guy from my ’69 Camaro to the Tahoe I drive every day. The Sonic’s power and sportiness made it the perfect vehicle for this awesome stunt.”
The stunt was performed at Six Flags Magic Mountain, while MTV filmed the feat for the Season 5 premiere of Fantasy Factory. Dyrdek executed the kick flip over the world’s-largest skateboard that he created for a previous stunt.

The Prada LG 3.0 Phone.
LG and fashion label Prada are collaborating for the third time to release the first LG Prada smartphone, the Prada phone by LG 3.0. The phone combines Prada’s style with LG’s innovative technology, including one of the biggest and brightest screens in the world with 4.3inch and 800-nit screen. Menus and the user interface are also influenced by Prada with black, grey and white menu and icons. The Prada Phone by LG 3.0 adopts LG’s “tri-dual” design meaning it has a dual-core 1GHz processor and 512MB of RAM per core, bringing a total of 1GB. The 8 mega-pixel camera is a real highlight because it can record 1080p video at a smooth 30fps. The PRADA Phone also supports WiFi , 3G and Bluetooth. On-board memory weighs in at 8GB, which is upgradable through the use of microSD cards. The phone runs Android’s Gingerbread OS. It is planned that the handset will update to Ice Cream Sandwich in the future.
The first LG Prada, also known as LG KE850, was the world’s first mobile phone to use a touchscreen display. Dr. Jong-seok Park, CEO of LG Eletronics Mobile Communications Company, said, “Our working relationship with PRADA is unique in its longevity and success, something no other phone company and luxury brand have been able to replicate.” Designer labels attached to phones is not a novelty these days considering the Hugo Boss Samsung Galaxy Ace or the BlackBerry Porsche Design P’9981 devices.

The Skeleton Pocket Watch.
For each of the past few years at the SIHH show in Geneva, Cartier has unveiled a “grande complication” wristwatch featuring a tourbillon, perpetual calendar and monopusher chronograph. This year, Cartier has drawn inspiration from Cartier pocket watches produced in the 1930′s to produce the eye-catching piece you see here. The watch is crafted in white gold, with skeletonized Roman numerals, something that we have also seen the past few years in some of Cartier’s higher end pieces.
