‘Break A B*tch Pockets Like Jimmy Choo’.

“Break a b*tch pockets like Jimmy Choo” is a line from one of my favorite songs from Bay Area rapper A.Mo, and it didn’t really strike me how nuts some women go these designer shoes.  It just so happens that Jimmy Choo is celebrating the 15th anniversary of the iconic shoe and accessory brand, by publishing a coffee table book: Jimmy Choo XV.  The luxurious Jimmy Choo Chronicles presents fifteen of their most recognizable shoe designs since the companies launch in 1996.  Also included are studio design sketches, red carpet shots, behind the scenes fashion photography, past advertising campaigns and a host of stunning editorials.  This luxury book is this the perfect Christmas gift for every woman who dons themselves an ardent shoe lover.  It is also 100% of the proceeds go towards the Jimmy Choo Foundation (which raises money for women charities) making it both stylish and worthwhile.  The high-fashioned book will be made available at booksellers across the globe in February of 2012.

Cell Footage Of Drake’s 25th Birthday.

Everyone has a specific plan for their birthday, some people party, some people take it easy, and the great entertainers of the world do things like take over Tao in Las Vegas.  I got a hold of some cell phone footage from the big event, it seemed like quite the night.

Celebrity Portraits.

Portraits really have the potential to capture a persons essence, and we all know that people are always fascinated the essence of a celebrity.  Check out some of the most stirring celebrity portraits from different photographers.

$19,000 Golden Shoe Laces.

For $19,000, a company called Mr. Kennedy will make you 24-carat gold laces which take about 120 hrs to make by hand.  “The world’s only precious metal shoelaces” are finely crafted using “ancient, artisan jewelry techniques.”  The man behind the laces is Colin Hart, who named his company after ‘Mr Kennedy’, inventor of the modern-day shoelace.

He explains that shoelaces are boring and hopes that his blinged-out offerings will attract people who enjoy the “practical made special.”  Adding to their exclusivity, only ten pairs of the shoelaces will ever be made.

Pusha T Speaks His Mind On 107.5.

Pusha T jumped on the radio earlier this week to discuss his thoughts on the 2011 BET Cypher, his new album with Good Music, and Drizzy Drake.  Check the method below.

The Space Yacht.

We’ve talked about a few spaceship-looking yacht concepts here before, but this one from John Shuttleworth Yacht Designs takes the cake. Why? Well, because it’s not a concept (it’s actually being built in China for a couple from Hong Kong).  Dubbed Adastra, this super-yacht comes from 5 long years of design work. When it’s completed it will stretch 139-ft and cruise along at about 22.5 knots. There will be room for about 9 passengers and crew of up to 6. Pushing this spacecraft through the sea will be a 1150hp Caterpillar C18 engine along with smaller, 110hp engines on the outer hulls.

The interior features everything you would expect to find in a yacht of this caliber, a dining area, bathroom, sunbed, lounge, bar and bedrooms. With all that luxury onboard engineers have gone to great lengths to make sure the boat remains light enough for low fuel consumption. For instance, things like cabinetry have been built with honeycomb style wood rather than solid pieces and many of the yacht’s components are made of carbon fiber.

Street Photography.

Street photography is something that seems simple in principal, but it’s not as easy to get ‘right’ as you may thing,  There an abundance of different things anyone can find intriguing on the street, but this specific collection of street photos is comprised of pictures from photographers all over the world.  It’s definitely one of the best I’ve seen yet.

The Versace x H&M Lookbook.

H&M has released the first official campaign visuals for its design collaboration with Versace, starring models of the moment Daphne Groeneveld and Lindsey Wixson.  Lensed by photographer duo Mert & Marcus, the images give a first impression of Versace’s greatest hits-inspired collection due to hit stores in November.  The range, which includes both men’s and women’s styles, as well as home accessories, “will look back on the heritage of the brand, full of leather, print, color and exuberance in exclusive materials,” H&M said.  A second collection, also designed by Donatella Versace, will become available in January.  Past designers who have collaborated with H&M include Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, Comme des Garçons, Jimmy Choo, Sonia Rykiel, and Lanvin.

Sexual Innuendos In Popular Cartoons.

Everyone knows that certain cartoons are riddled with sexual content.  Family Guy, and South Park both warn viewers that although they’re cartoons, there’s nothing childish about their themes.  But every so often, (like in the case of Disney) people have peeped some below the radar innuendo that might be a little frightening to parents.  My intent of this post isn’t to warn the parents that the cartoons their children may be watching have subliminal themes hidden deep below their fluffy exterior… It’s to point out how absolutely hilarious it is to think that I watched some of these shows, and had NO idea how good the jokes they threw in were.

G-Unit In Vegas.

The G-Unit name has been all over the world for years now, but some of the newer members of the Unit have not.  In the video blog straight from 50, the ENTIRE G-Unit crew takes a trip to Vegas, and whiles out in what seems like one of the funnest company retreats imaginable.  Check the method.

For The Love Of Young Dolo.

Ray J has been in the news recently for his escapade with rapper Fabolous, but one of the things that put him in the spotlight in the first place was his reality TV show “For The Love Of Ray J”.  Some say, his show was quite popular, although not as successful as the previous “Flavor Of Love” or the subsequent “For The Love Of Young Dolo”.  For those of you unfamiliar with “For The Love Of Young Dolo”, I found the finale episode, and posted it below.  Check the method.

A 2.5 Mil. Dollar Bra?

Miranda Kerr has been chosen to wear the Victoria’s Secret‘s 2011 Fantasy Treasure at next month’s presentation.  Valued at $2.5 million, the bra is inspired by an underwater dreamland of luxury, exotic glamour and sexy aquatic Angels.  The Fantasy Treasure Bra was created by London Jewellers in Long Island. It boasts almost 3,400 stones, of which there are 142 carats of yellow and white diamonds.  The Fantasy Bra is featured in the 2011 Victoria’s Secret Christmas Dreams and Fantasies Catalogue arriving in mailboxes nationwide on October 21st.

Miranda Kerr will be modelling the head-turning piece, which took over 500 hours of hand embroidery to craft, at the Victoria’s Secret fashion show on 29 November.  Each year a top model is bestowed the honour of modelling the Victoria’s Secret ‘Fantasy Bra’.  Kerr follows in the footsteps of big names Tyra Banks, Heidi Kulm, Karolina Kurkova and Gisele Bunchen – who modelled a bra worth $15m in 2000.

Yummy.

Everyone Loves Wingstop.

For all those unfortunate souls out there who are unaware of the wonders of Wing Stop, it’s a restaurant with locations in California, and sprinkled around the south and east.  They have some of the best wings in the bay, and if the recipe is the same at every location in the country, there’s no doubt in my mind that they’re the best wherever they are.  Now, before you start to think that I’m blowing things out of proportion… Take a look at the video below, and remember that even the ‘biggest’ boss Rick Ross has mentioned Wing Stop in his song MC Hammer.

NBA 2K-12: Mark Cuban vs. Drake.

The NBA 2K12 TV spots have been getting funnier and funnier, my new favorite is the 30 second battle between Drizzy Drake and Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban.  Check it out below.

Bubbles In Paris.

Hilton Arc de Triomphe Paris has partnered with Taittinger Champagne to create the “Bubble in Paris” bar that resembles a life-size snow globe.  The translucent bar was conceived by artist Jean-Hugues de Chatillon, who drew inspiration from the mythical realm of Narnia to bottle a miniature winter wonderland.  The 16-foot tall dome will house an all-white, central, circular bar and small lounge that can accommodate 35 visitors at a time and will be open until New Year’s Eve.  Guests who order the signature special for €25 can sip a glass of Taittinger Champagne and choose their side of fresh sea or land bubble.

The Lamborghini Estoque.

Lamborghini doesn’t usually build a concept car without it getting put to some kind of use in the future. It’s never happened, and we’ll place bets on the fact that it won’t ever happen. Try as they may to deny the fact that the Estoque would not see the production line, this concept vehicle stood a fantastic chance at becoming the third model in Lamborghini’s line-up.  To prove this theory, I found a recent statement from Chairman and CEO Stephan Winkelmann.  In the statement he confirmed that the company is indeed preparing a third model, and that this new model is not an SUV as people have speculated, but a four-door luxury sedan.

“We have opportunities outside the supercar business, and we showed that with Estoque. It had a more enthusiastic response than we had expected. It was the right time to see if the brand could go outside of supercars. Even now, people are still emailing me about us making the Estoque.”

And if the strong demand for a production version of the Estoque doesn’t make them actually build it, the recent success the company has been having on the Chinese market may just give Lamborghini the final push they need, especially since luxury four-door sedans are in high demand over there.

Lets Jump Off A Hotel Elevator.

We all know stupid people who come up with stupid idea’s for fun.  (Like: lets take 18 cases of Hennessy we have left, put the liquor into Super-Soakers and try and shoot each other in the mouth…. RYAN J.)  But every so often, what may appear like a stupid idea turns into an incredible, and unforgettable stunt.  3 men in Bali decided to climb one of the city’s hotel elevators on the exterior of the building… and jump off.  Check out what happened below.

The Urwerk UR-110 ZrN Torpedo.

By the name of this post you might think these are instructions for building a bomb… but that’s far from the truth.  The Urwerk Champagne Supernova is a limited edition twist on Urwerk’s UR-110 Torpedo watch launched early this year.  The radiant and very nice looking color comes from a coating of Zirconium Nitride on the bezel, which provides the distinctive pale gold hue that gives rise to the “Champagne Supernova” nickname.  Zirconium Nitride is a high-performance ceramic coating that provides superb scratch, wear and corrosion resistance.  Like MB&F’s Horological Machines, Urwerk’s ultra-limited, super-pricey timepieces are of their own world and tend to foster love or hate by those who view them.  The watch will be limited to 12 examples and will be available at Chronopassion in Paris, Westime in LA, Marcus in London, and The Hour Glass in Singapore.

Beauty Right In The Backyard.

It seems like some of the things this blog is becoming famous for is the women I feature.  So in the spirit of not disappointing the people, I like to change things up when I can.  In my search for models, I’m aided by tons of different sites, recommendations, suggestions, and a multitude of offers from models themselves to get on the blog.  In an ongoing effort to switch things up, I decided to start from scratch and use an untapped source, with no success.  I kept finding myself on the same sites, the same people’s twitter’s, and going through the same emails.  After being frustrated, I was near the point of giving up, when a pop up from a Facebook friend sprung onto the side of my screen with her new modeling pictures, and it hit me… I communicate enough beautiful people online to be able to find someone gorgeous, successful, and professional that I hadn’t already featured on the blog (a.k.a. Yesenia Bustillo, Dana ‘Red’ Downer, Sarah Jane Swag, or ‘Carmel Candy‘).  Lucky for me, I found 4 more.

The Villa Krona.

Positioned on a remote island in the Gullkrona Archipelago, Finland, the ‘Villa Krona’, a single family residence designed by Helsinki-based practice Helin & Co Architects has been nominated by the world architecture festival for an award in this year’s house category. perched high upon a cliff overlooking the Baltic Sea, this segmented dwelling and veranda gradually unfolds to reveal unobstructed vistas of the sunrise and sunset along with changing weather of the seasons. Autumn storms send thrashing waves towards the structure allowing them to gradually freeze within view from the interior.  Immersed in nature, inhabitants are provided with a dynamic retreat from monotonous environments.

Yelawolf Talks ‘Radioactive’.

Spitting isn’t the only way Yelawolf can engage folks when he has a mic in his hands.  He recently stepped up to the stage at his listening party, and talked about his debut album Radioactive, Eminem, and his collab with ‘Gangsta Boo’.  Check the method below.
