Born Jessica Zepeda in Houston, TX, this up and coming model chose the nickname “Miss Rabbit” on the strength of one of her favorite movies as a child. ‘Who Framed Roger Rabbit’. She is often described by people who know her as ‘the most down to earth and cool person’. She loves to have fun, and that involves good friends, good food, and is enjoying life and her career to their fullest.
Jessica was persuaded, like most new models, by friends to pursue a career in modeling, and one day found her way on the set of Paul Wall’s “Break ‘em off Real Bad” video. She met Dwyane Darden from Summerbunnies.com on the set of a shoot, and was featured in multiple shoots including the 2008 calendar. Her goals include building a strong modeling resume’ and conducting business in the entertainment industry long after her shooting days are over.
There are quite a few people I take daily inspiration from, my father, my sister, my boys, and… ‘The Most Interesting Man In The World’. I’ve stopped entire mixing sessions dead in their tracks just to run out of the room and watch one of those Dos Equis commercials with the catchy song and the most ridiculous one liners on the planet. So when I came across the newest commercial online, I just had to throw it up. Your welcome Jeff.
There has been an odd phenomenon occurring in the movie advertising business recently. Certain movies have stopped advertising the director of the movie, and substituted this coveted slot with things like “Blah Blah Blah Presents” or “From the mind of:”. In the case of the film “Predators”, it was pumped up to give the impression that Robert Rodriguez directed it. (Which me and my boys came to find out AFTER we saw the movie.) But I don’t necessarily have a problem with this IF the movie ends up being good anyway, so when I saw the trailer for the new movie “Devil” (which is NOT directed by M. Night Shyamalan), I figured it looked so interesting that I’d go check it out regardless. Click the pic below to watch. Courtesy of Apple.com
On July 3rd, Tokyo 24 set up at the ‘Medicine Agency Gallery’ in downtown San Francisco, and tore it all down. Along with Ironclad and Duckworth, the performance hailed the return of Philly P to the stage during a special performance of “Check My Denim”, and concluded with a double encore. Pro photographer Brittany Jeffers was on the scene to snap some exclusive pics of Tokyo 24, and opening acts “Signs” and “Wanda & Wonder”. It was an event that was not to have been missed, but if you did, just click here, or on any of the pictures to see the entire set and do it quickly. These pictures will only be available until July 26th.
Lil Wayne recently wrote a letter to his fans during his incarceration. Look below to read.
Hello world… I’m good. Counting the days and still smiling. Most of those smiles come from hearing my kids’ voices over the phone. The others come from reading fan mail. Let me just say that I have the best fans in the world! The devotion, dedication, support, love, and most of all, prayers are simply the best. I never imagined that I could have such an impact on people’s lives. Because of this, I vow to be a bit more careful of what I say.
So I’ve been writing and let me be the first to tell you that the lyrics that I’m writing are… well there’s no word that I can think of that properly defines them. Amazing would be too typical and perfect would be unfair. I listen to the radio sometimes, emphasis on sometimes, and I hear the new music. I like some. I applaud my Young Money family for what they’re doing. As I’m not surprised. This is what we’re supposed to do. Congrats to Drake and Nicki for all their recent success. Those 2 are going to have me retiring early. I love my team. Much love to Tez and Mack. I know that people are inquisitive of what I do all day, so here goes. I wake up around 11AM. Have some coffee. Call my kids, and my wonderful mother. I then shower up. Read fan mail. Have lunch. Back on the phone. Read a book or write some thoughts down. Have dinner. Phone. Pushups. Then I listen to ESPN on the radio. Read the bible, then sleep. That’s my day.
I’ll end this letter, but never my love. I’m gone. Oh, and how ‘bout dem Lakers!?!
P.S. I thank my fans for appreciating me the way you do.
Tunechi.
I know I’ve spoken more than once about the new collaborative efforts between Unni. R photography and DJ Storm, and his website www.unniphotography.com . No matter how much this photographer wow’s me during sessions, there always seems to be something else I haven’t seen that stuns me. Featuring an amazing collection of some of his most unique photos, all the way down to an ad for Rolls Royce, Unni has a second website with a totally different style of photography for viewers to enjoy. Click any of the pics to see more.
I happen to be a severe tattoo fanatic, so when I read up on the work of the ‘Frith Street Tattoo’ shop in London, I got very interested. Long gone are the sex shops and beatniks of London’s Soho neighborhood. Over the years, the notorious district has undergone a serious image overhaul, and between the office buildings and trendy restaurants sits Frith Street Tattoo and Piercing, the tattoo shop of owner Dante Di Massa’s dreams.
So recently, I’ve been stuck in the house, working on some last minute stuff for my tour around the east coast, and concocting some of the final musical mischief for ‘Cocktails & Condoms’. During my days at home alone, the only thing I can watch more than the Science Channel, is stand up comedy. One of the funniest pieces that had me in stitches recently was a bit from Kevin Hart about the horror of gnats. Take a look.
‘Aqua’ is an 82-story mixed use building located in the Lakeshore East area of Chicago. It is the largest project awarded to a female-led architectural firm, designed by Jeanne Gang (Studio Gang Architects). The wavy protrusions serve as terraces for residential and hotel guests, and give the building a unique visual appeal.
Many of the design related posts I have up revolve around my love of art, or photography. Its not too often that I come across a graphic designer who’s work can speak for itself as loudly as a painted picture, or a dynamic photograph. The works of Reginald Sylvester are both sophisticated and unique in a way that can compliment any project that requires his talent. He’s designed the logos for Christopher Richardson, the producer of the show “Creative Chronicles: Street Files” (an episode of which I was featured a few weeks back). The new logo for the promotional company ‘Above Ground Entertainment’ was also the work of Reginald.
There has also been tons of well deserved hype surrounding the Subtle Detail clothing line, which was also designed by Mr. Sylvester. His new season is preview below, but just click the pic to see more.
If you want to get your hands on some of the clothing Reginald Sylvester already has out, look no further than the BKC. Recently the Brooklyn Circus held a world wide design contest for who would design their 2 year anniversary T’s. Needles to say that out of countless contestants, Reginald took the grand prize. Below are some shots of his winning design.
Anybody remember Jin, the ‘blazin asian’ who made a killing on “106 & Park’s” Freestyle Friday? Well if you do, you remember him, you know he was an unofficial freestyle champ for quite sometime, until he was crushed by the likes of Serious Jones, Iron Solomon… and like 7 other people. But apparently he’s back, and is new video “Angels” seems to be something to talk about.
This Aussie beauty has been in some of the most pants warming advertising campaigns of all time. Between her Maybelline billboards and the Victoria’s Secret commercial featuring her flying around in her underwear, she is a face no one forgets. Voted #19 in the AskMen.com’s Top 99 Women 2008 Edition.

Miranda was born in Sydney, Australia, in the small village of Gunnedah. Much to the dismay of the estimated 17 unmarried men in the town, Miranda was discovered in a Covergirl competition in 1997, assuring she’d never sleep with anyone from her small town for the remainder of her life.

After her victory, she modeled only part time, spending the remainder of her time studying in school. But as her fame increased, the local media used her youth as an opportunity to debate about pedophilia in the fashion industry, which one can only assume ruined most people’s ability to enjoy looking at Miranda’s photographs.

Her career continued, as controversy or not, her smoking hotness could not be denied, and in 2004, she moved to New York City, and was immediately signed by “Next” modeling agency. Quickly her popularity grew and she became one of the coveted “Victoria’s Secret Angels,” a group of women that included Gisele Bundchen and Tyra Banks.
Although the women were capable of banding together to use their hotness to take over the world, they apparently lacked the drive and organizational skills to do so, and settled for just being really rich, famous, hot chicks. Miranda was recently signed as the face of Californian fashion retailer “Arden B.” Hopefully they’ll release a line of swimsuits that are backed by an aggressive ad campaign.
I was looking for a new wallet when I came across the Hiraishi paper wallet by Anti System on a website called Tokyo Cube. The site has exclusive toys, clothes, and art for the person trying to step out of the box.
A Beverly Hills judge found Lohan violated probation on two DUI cases and sent the “Parent Trap” star away after a day-long hearing that left the actress in tears. “She comes and goes as she pleases,” said irate Superior Court Judge Marsha Revel. “There’s been a history of that. No excuses.” Lohan was ordered to surrender on the morning of July 20.
The stiff sentence came after a weepy Lohan – breaking down at times – made an emotional pitch to stay out of jail. “I’m not taking this as a joke,” Lohan said through tears. “It’s my life, it’s my career.” When Revel handed down the sentence – three times what prosecutors sought on the probation violation – Lohan wept on her lawyer’s shoulder. Now she’s spending 90 days with the REAL mean girls. Why couldn’t she have just like this…?
Roll It, a cool experimental house, resulted from the collaboration among different institutes within the University of Karlsruhe. This cylindrical design is a modular prototype that provides flexible space within a minimum housing unit. Three different sections are dedicated to different functional needs: there’s a bed and table in section, an exercise cylinder, and a kitchen with a sink.
Recently The Game, and Drake got together with Cool and Dre to bang out a song entitled “Good Girl, Bad Girl”. Below is a short interview, and some of the footage.
A while back, I posted up the “Incredibox“, an interactive website that allowed you to create some pretty impressive melodies using beatbox samples from a French artist. When my assistant came across “Qwerty Beats” however, I realized that although these two sites are based on the same concept, “Qwerty” allows for a much larger range of complexity, and holds the potential to actually be a nice compact beat making tool. (Or a massive distraction during office hours.)
